I love US Weekly but come on 14 pages and it cost $1 million dollars. That's just dumb.

Those pics of Jen & Mark are from the Rumour Has It set. Someone mentioned in the candids thread that they are doing re-shoots but no one has mentioned it on any fan sites or movie site that I know of so I still think they are from last year.

I don't think that those pictures prove anything. It's entirely possible that they're just friends who are hanging out because I'm not getting a romantic vibe at all from those pictures. (Granted they're in some remote spot in Africa but I'm not sure that there's anything going on there.)

they have made a huge point of not even standing too close to each other at events and won't even give that they are hanging out.
they aren't on vacation in kenya for their film- this is their downtime.
it is sneaky so that is why people are jumping on this.

I read today that apparently Angelina leaked the photo op to a a photographer, in exchange for having a percentage of the sale going to one of her charities.

The pics look staged to me, they aren't even standing close together or even looking at or talking or joking with each other, which is not normal behaviour for any 2 people hanging out alone together. I'm sure the photog would have waited long enough to catch them having some sort of interaction, they were probably talking to each other under their breath, looking in other directions, in other words, they knew the photog was there.

Some speculate that this is staged to introduce them as a couple for the first time, but without the negative press that a passionate demeanor would bring that would suggesting an illicit love affair that has been going on for awhile.

Call me cynical but I suspect that this is a PR ploy on the part of the studios to get more people to watch the film. I'd also heard the rumor that Angelina tipped off the press that they were going to be there, so a part of it feels very staged to me. I mean, why would she do that if they were trying so hard to keep their "affair" a secret?

Of course I could be reading too much into this, but something about those pics just seems off. I don't mind Brangelina together, I think they'd probably be good for each other. (That is, until Brad gets freaked out by Angelina's weird habits.) But I'm just not convinced by anything as yet.

huge celebrities like brad pitt, angelina jolie and jen aniston are among the 5% of hollywood who get to make their own rules and don't kow-tow to what a p.r. dept. cooks up and they are so huge, they certainly don't need to do anything fake all the way over in kenya to get people to see their film.
people will see this film regardless b/c of all the rumours in the first place
ps- and remember angelena pulled a very-happy couple apart before- billy bob and laura dern- and that was so unbelievable back thenB) . this is par for the course for her. she always gets her man.

I don't think so. Everybody does publicity stunts, especially the big stars--even Tom Cruise. And it's not that I don't believe that Angelina is capable of it because I do know about her sordid past. It's just that the whole thing seems so fabricated to me.

WOW...that's crazy and that really sucks that they did that (i've noticed that they do that a lot...but this one actually looks real).

Wonder what LadyGrey's response is going to be about how fair and correct the Star always is! (although I do totally admit that the Star usually has good scoop which ends up being fairly correct...I just think this doctored picture is taking it too far)

I'd have to agree totally with you. There is NOTHING masculine about Angelina.. she is all woman!
