Britney Spears has made her first foray into fashion design - the singer has created her own range for clothing giant Candie's.

The singer is currently the face of the U.S. fashion brand, and has shot several campaigns since she was hired in 2009.

Now the Toxic hitmaker has expanded her deal with Candie's to include designing her own pieces for a limited edition collection.

Spears announced the news in a post on her Twitter.com page. She writes, "At my photo shoot for the limited edition collection I designed for Candie's! I think you guys will love it!!! - Brit."

The collection hits stores on 1 July.

Brilliant, she's designing shoes. I don't think I've ever seen her wear a nice pair of shoes in my life, and now she's designing shoes?! I hope she can design herself a nice looking pair, it would make a change.

Oh you just SLAYED me!!!

Let us imagine what the Britney for Candies collection includes since Brit designed it.

The collection will include tank tops with intentional stains, bleach spots and rips. Black Skinny jeans. Blue cut-off shorts. Furry boots and wedged flip-flops. No bras or underwear though. Not necessary.
