She doesn't go to events because she doesn't want to. She's as famous as ever, but unlike before where she was actively pursuing it, she's doing nothing to be in the spotlight. She's not actively seeking it.

And I know she's in between albums right now but even when she does have new material out it just seems like she doesn't do any promos anymore (no live tv show performances, interviews etc). And I understand her situation but I'd just like to see more of Professional Britney lol
