Celine is too minimalist for me this season...or should I say too much white (I know it's the big trend but seriously). I do actually like the maroon leather with the deep blue trousers look because there's at least some life to it. Maybe this will grow on me but I find it a little dull ATM.

It's too forgettable. It's definitely her weakest collection she's sent out for Celine. It's missing that "it" and "luxe" factor that made her last two RTW collections such hits.

this is somewhat good and bad at the same time. I like her collection but also I expect more from her. Though there are unflattering pieces.

This is terribly underwhelming.
Her cruise collection was by far the best of all. So, of course, I had huge expectations for this show. And yet I don't find anything exciting in that collection. It actually looks extremly common, there is not Phoebe's usual twist. And therefore, the minimalist approach feels a bit bland. First of all there is too much white, after three cities of white over-load I'm getting tired of it. Moreover, except that blue shirt whit the mid-lenght leather skirt, I don't see any really distinctive look. The almost exactly same shape seem to be repeated over and over, and even the prints don't give excitement to the looks.

If I learn't anything from following FW for a couple of seasons is to never have high expectations. Thankfully I didn't have one for Celine. I wish she stopped with the leather pieces, I reckon they are extremely unflattering. But its good to see another colour palette; navy blue is going to go somewhere.

Like Wolkfolk, I preferred Phoebe's resort collection for Celine to this spring/summer one. The resort one offered more variety and drama, even though it was smaller.

I think this is sort of an attempt for a change in direction for the Celine woman, minimalist sure, but without the crispness, the rigidity, the sharpness and precision of the line. This collection looks more slouchy and sporty than her previous ones, and regardless of the boxy blouses and tunics the clothes give a relaxed impression in general.

I don't think this change was successful though, as far as I'm concerned few pieces are interesting, even less are desirable, and the collection as a whole lacks the basic elements that made Celine so covetable in the first place.

Will it sell? Well, why not? But it will be on the previous collections' coattails.

the rest is completely out of place (prints), clinical (cut), leather (really need to see this in shop. coz here it looks disgusting).
i love most of the coats, jkts, kimonos top though. i think this is the strongest in the collection ...

I'm a bit sad because this is Phoebe staying in her comfort zone. I thought Phoebe would realized that she's the most copied designer right now and show everyone how "luxe" minimalism is done. Something you can't really get from no one else but her. That 'chic parisienne' look is lost here.

From a resort full of ideas to expand, this feels very dull and insipid.
C'mon Phoebe, show 'em that you are more than this!

Nowfashion has a very crappy quality and the worst part is that almost every thread is starting with their images.
