It's a very smart move, didn't he just announce too that he's working on a new album? So publicity for both sides and Lara just looks hot as per but I think they should've went for Anna Ewers, but maybe they did and she said no.

Should have been Lara and Matt. They were so hot. Lara looks fantastic, but Bieber can't model. Great publicity though. Lara's amount of followers went straight up on her social media. So are the nasty comments. So I understand why they didn't go for a young girl like Anna (if they must have Bieber). I guess someone like Lara can handle this better then a young model.

Anyway should have been Lara and Matt. No bieber and no one else then Lara.

Poor Lara really got the short end of the stick, having to shoot in an uncomfortable work environment and recieving death threats all over the internet. I hope she got paid a lot of money for this.

As for the photoshopping, the site who posted the unphotoshopped picture had this to say:

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the skinnier version of Bieber in these images. What is wrong with showing people as they are?

This is an issue that has plagued to fashion industry for years and years with images of women, and it is interesting to see that men are not exempt - Bieber obviously felt the need to be bigger and Calvin Klein was probably more than happy to oblige.

and I make those words mine. It's not like Calvin Klein doesn't photoshop their regular male models to death, after all. Still, someone with a better, sexier IRL body would've certainly helped with retouching and not make a complete fool of himself in the whole process, I guess.

Anyway, I could go on for many paragraphs about body culture and idolizing, but I'll refrains; however, it's still sad to see that he feels the need to photoshop himself to death. Not surprising, given his... mindset, but sad nonetheless.

I am not sure who is sending these death threats... Lara fans who hate Lara cooperating with Bieber or people who do not want anyone touching Bieber... Both seem equally far fetched.
