Catwalk Trends F/W 04.05

I agree with the belts especially. It seems that Prada led the way a few seasons ago, and now everybody is doing it. The skinny belt on top of jacket/sweater combo still looks fresh for fall.
This is my favorite trend so far.
it will be flattering for all shapes and sizes

*edgy but beautiful-comme, viktor and rolf, bruno pieters

this one came from suzy menkes...but i so agree...and i'm happy to see it...edgy can be beautiful...

*grey (very strong everywhere)
*blue (in every possible shade)
*pale powder pinks
*strong green
*yellows

also tweeds, menswear fabrics & shapes :flower:

*scarves
*croco leather
*metallic leather

oh-i'm so glad you said grey... i was thinking that too, but i thought it was just me!!!

it certainly is there, grey rules ;)

*prunes and purples also
*opaque tights in black or colour are also VERY strong (making me happy  )

oh yes---of course coloured opaque tights...i'm also happy about that one...
i'm also feeling the purple mood... :flower: nice mixed with brown and copper...

how about green...i'm also feeling green-emerald and olives...

i think its all about layering with intresting fabrics that normally wouldnt be associated with each other.

Juicy cotton tank layered with...
Dolce & Gabbana lilac lace vest layered with
a black wool suit jacket layered with...
a red ribbon, tied & bowed.

& i am really feeling the darker patterns almost like a toile seen at prada on skirts & dresses

Oh, black opaque stockings with white pumps

hmmm, wearing different shades of the same color...deep, dark purple & bright almost neon purple.

green is a big accent colour, like yellow , strange how 'summery' colours seem for next winter.

(i liked also green+brown and still yellow+grey which continues strong)

*ginger /cogniac is another 'new' rising colour.
*knits seems strong

i was going to say knits too...

and i like the gingery/cognac...all of these earthy/spicy colours...maybe a little morroccan, just in the colour palette... :flower:

"Volume" I guess (means never-sit-down dresses and skirts)
Black (as long as it is CdG :-))
Waistis thin "again".

adding to the list...

large brooches-pins----everywhere....gold and rhinestones

bows...continuing theme..

suits/little suit jackets-

toggle coats-made several appearances

the round toe shoe - is taking hold....

this double/double breasted look seems to be a trend
