Chanel 2007-2008 New Bags

I saw a new bag in store last weekend
it's the classic 2.55 bag with a big silver double C logo on it
is that bag gonna be this season only or they're having it next season too?
anyone got this bag already?

I was so dying for that bag but London Chanel boutique has already cut the
waiting list AGES ago for those new bags and some people in the
waiting list are not getting their bags.. Only 100 limited edition 2.55 bag
were in the UK and all gone now... SIGH..

Something about the chanel bag: 15 people are required to make one bag
and this involves 180 stages amd take about 3 hours to complete.

yea the bag is so much
the one I saw at NM last weekend was a lighter brown color
I don't know if they still have other colors though
anyone has it? is it easy to take care of ?
I've always wanted to buy a white chanel bag, but just afraid they'll get dirty easily

I have Chanel 2.55 on the brain. =)

I called Chanel San Francisco and the male SA I spoke with said they have ONE limited edition Classic available. Retail price is 1,625 USD. That location already sold out of the smaller clutch (as posted by serenade_ingenue) but may do a special order direct from France.

This really sucks since I just got a black Classic 2.55 -- caviar leather and silver hardware -- not two weeks ago. Ahh. I'm a sucker for "limited edition" bags.

I'm just consoling myself that it's in lambskin which I will probably botch up sooner or later.

I saw this in Bloomingdale's this afternoon, and it is adorable.
They also have these amazing Chanel ballet slippers/ flats that I think are new. I could be wrong on this though.

How long is the strap for the 2.55 anyway?
If you were to carry the 2.55 on the straps, which part of the body would the bag hit?

I think it's time I seriously considered investing in a Chanel....

The drop is approximately 9 inches when the straps are doubled up and about 15 inches when you're using it as a single strap.

I would love to get my hands on a Jumbo Classic though. Talk about a Bad.***.Mo.Fo. bag!

and the one shown in the picture is a smaller one
maybe I was wrong? someone know?

and um....guys
if you look closely at the picture I posted
it said the bag is 995 dollars
which is not very expensive as a beautiful chanel bag
I'm still thinking if I should get one, it's so pretty though
