Definitely authentic and everything ok? And would this be the large or baby size? Does anyone remember how much they retailed for?

^Boots, please don't bid on this one!
There are just so many things about this auction that sets off alarm bells in my head.
First of all, SKU doesn't mean anything for a Chanel bag, what you need is a shot of the authenticity tag as well as the card, so that you know they correspond.
Also, the model number of the bag is blurred and that is unacceptable, the seller should be able to take a clear picture of the bag by using the "macro" function on his/her camera.
The seller has 0 feedback as well, I am not sure how comfortable you'll be putting that much money with a new seller.

The large vinyl cabas retailed for USD$995 and the x-large for USD$1225 - hope this helps!

^Yes, I have the leather baby Cabas.
As for the auction, ask her for pictures of the authenticity tag in the bag and the card side by side, preferably with a slip of paper with her user-id on it. That will help to determine authenticity.
Also, have you tried posting in the "Authenticate This Bag" thread? Miz*Bags is another member who is really good at authenticating bags

Ok, the seller sent me this photo. Does this look ok Princess (or anyone who is able to help)? I'm keeping my fingers crossed it is authentic!

I think this is the large size.
The card and tag do check out, so it looks good to me.

However, just to be safe, maybe run this by Miz*Bags too, or try the ladies in tpf?
They are very detail-oriented, and may pick out anything which I have missed.
It's always better to be safe than sorry...

A bit of a random question... but does anyone here remember a collage that was in the NY Times Style section i believe that featured lots of pictures of girls on the street carrying the Cabas? I remember it being posted on here, but never save it and now can't find it anywhere. It must have been about a year or so ago now.

I know i'm a little late on the Cabas uptake...i hated them at first when they were all trendy and overexposed, but now i've finally fallen for it and can't stop thinking about buying a vinyl one!

All those who own one...do you still wear them lots and have they turned out to be a good bag (and sturdy, not fragile- i'm not one to baby my bags)?

The most beautiful bag just arrived to my doorsteps today....words cannot describe the beauty of the metallic purple reissue bag...its GOREGOUS...and the size is Perfect...it is indeed the 227 size...its perfect!!!

I have the baby cabas, which appeared a season later than the original vinyl one. As it's made of textured leather, it's hardy and I don't have to baby it at all!

Thanks again Princess. Good to know they're not too fragile then (my other Chanels are ok, but i just wanted to check if i could put lots of stuff in it without it getting worn). I still can't find the LV leopard scarf anywhere, so i think i'll go with the vinyl Cabas on ebay instead.

What do people think of this Cabas? 150209043455 It does look like patent leather rather than vinyl, but I didn't know it came in patent leather at all? And why does it look so different to this large vinyl (260204467368) which seems to be an authentic? The charm looks completely different to begin with.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but i thought there was only a large and Xlarge vinyl and leather, never patent leather. I'm suspecting it's not authentic in that case...
