YUCK. 90% of this collection is absolutely hideous. It looks so outdated. And those embroideries look cheap, especially on the colored pieces.

Everything about this is wrong to me. The silhouette is so kistch. I hate this collection with a passion; am I the only one?!

So stunning! I love every piece. The shoes could have used some work though.

Like always, the black cocktail dresses are divine but what is up the the nude bodysuit/skirt combos? Looks like rejects from Michelle Kwan's skating costumes.

Well I'm breathing a sigh of relief.
There are several god-awful pieces but Karl always throws in a few of those, just so it isn't monotonous
The pieces early in the collection look like they were made a century ago by Chanel herself - I rather love them a lot, though they are very close to being branded as dated.
One or two of the pieces look pretty much the same as pieces from the A/W 08 PAP collection, but I love this - I even love the tasteful use of leopard-print in several pieces.
The wedding dress is a bit lame and the shimmery/sparkly dresses need to be binned.
The best piece in the entire collection is that black dress that wraps and goes to a point with a scarlet lining - that's fantastic.
I can't wait to see this collection in motion.

Again, I love it. Great choice of fabrics, textures and colors. I love Chanel HC mainly because of the details, that are noticeable in HQ.
Lighting and background were also fantastic.

The collection feels very "Chanel through the ages". I see so many references, it almost feels like a retrospective. (But a good retrospective!) The highlight for me is that cream dress that Sasha wears.

YES karl, show me why i like you so much. what a GORGEOUS couture collection, finally. the bride dress borders on ugly but the model choice was perfect, lara carried that dress beautifully.

Karl really did a great job!!!! i love all the outfits! i especially love the white long dress on Sasha, the last outfit worn by Heidi, that kind of solar dress lol on Abbey and the wedding dress on Lara!!!

great job Karl! he managed to deliver 2 great couture collections this year!!! i'm impressed!

good god, the intro is ATROCIOUS! too 80s/90s for its own good. (unless you're into that stuff ) starts to pick up with the white wool suit. immediately takes a nosedive with those hats. (he loved them in the 90s. ugh.)

then it's a rollercoaster.

from my POV, the simpler pieces truly shine. the nude pieces with the draping are gorgeous. those dresses with that shimmery cocktail umbrellas on look like Pinatas.

This is brilliant! I love everything right from the hats, hair to the lace stockings. Shoes are fine. I rather like the 80s/90s vibe in some earlier pieces, for Chanel they are always classy but never outdated. The nude pieces (esp the one on Charlotte!) near the end are just amazing! And finally Karl manages to do colours right, they are nice addition but not OTT.

I just don't get the fingers' gloves though. Seems like nobody noticed, but Lara looks like she's got her fingers burnt!
