Mariacarla's outfit in the first post looks beautiful ...

... it's that white-upon-white-upon-pure-immaculate-white setting again; the models seem to be standing against nothing but white. I thought it was from a showroom when I first saw it but then reminded myself it was a runway couture collection.

Is it me, or is there this big fantasy / sci-fi theme going around for this season's couture? First Galliano, now Lagerfeld ... hmm ...

Oh wow..... this is so unexpected but in a good way. I can't wait to see it all!

There is some really exquisite detailing with the embroidery and some of the finishes but the shapes seem to heavily reference balenciaga (I mean the archives) though I love Irina as the bride. That seems like something talitha getty would have worn to her wedding.
