I hate that it seems as though her idea of what love is was changed so drastically, like her whole perception of it was pulled from right under her feet and that's so sad to me.

His fanatics and some people who don't like Rihanna are still pushing the whole "She must of hit him" theory, it is so sick. What proof do they have that she hit him...I wish Chris would be a man and admit that Rihanna didn't hit him instead letting this theory ride to save his name. His friends and fanatics are so mad that Rihanna didn't say sweet things about him, she spoke the truth. Well when Chris didn't talk about the situation in detail he was obviously trying to protect himself not Rihanna.

She was a little too easy on him, but that just makes it more damning.

Now it's less embarrassing for other girls in the same situation. A bad boyfriend can happen to anyone, f*** love, move on and find a healthy one.

Her 20/20 interview was very impressive, she was somature...I was really surprised how well she was able to articulate things. And I like that she wasn't too easy on him, she really spoke her mind and analyzed the situation well.

 Chris Brown's statement

"While I respect Rihanna's right to discuss the specific events of February 8, I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us. I do appreciate her support and wish her the best.I am extremely sorry for what I did, and I accept accountability for my actions. At this point, I am taking the proper steps to learn about me and grow from my mistakes. I only hope that others in similar situations can learn from our experience as well. Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it to God."

Of course he'd want to keep it under wraps -- he's the guilty party. Funny that during his terrible Larry King interview, he "couldn't remember" much of anything that night but Rihanna sure remembered every detail.

I thought that her interview was good. She was really honest about certain things (like the meeting at Diddy's house, that her love for Chris didn't just stop immediately after it happened) and I like that she said she is a strong person -- it was something that happened to her, not something she did. While she shouldn't have to be responsible for all of the young girls out there, she's mature enough to understand that she is a role model whether she chooses to be or not. As she said, she doesn't want them to think that it's okay to return to an abusive relationship because superstar Rihanna stayed with Chris.

Those youtube videos of people blaming her were so shameful. Sadly, I'm sure those fools are bragging that their videos were aired on national television. Looking back on the general wishy-washy reaction from much of the music industry when this happened makes me kind of sick all over again.

When Diane showed her the video of him apologizing (I think one where he was wearing a red shirt) and she said it seemed as though he was reading from a teleprompter, I thought the same thing.

She did a very good interview, Chris Brown seems more like a strutting coward to me ...I wish he would just go away for a 1yr. His silly fans are saying Rihanna looks bitter, no they are just bitter because Rihanna has exposed him

Chris Brown is debuting his music video on the Wendy Williams show on Friday. What the hell, didn't Wendy denounce him and his actions on her show shortly after the incident occured? Seems like she's putting attention-getting for her show above her morals. I don't like her anyway but she shouldn't be promoting him if she claims to abhor his actions.

How is he "protecting" her by not detailing his own ABUSIVE behavior, Iam sick of people somehow making him a "hero" in this situation, He has more to lose by actually telling the truth and killing the "She hit Me" theory.

Singer Omarion hit up New York’s Power 105fm Morning Show with Ed Lover and Free this morning and discussed his upcoming projects and why he would NEVER get back with B2K among other things. Of course, with Omarion being a good friend of Chris Brown’s, he offered his thoughts on the Rihanna situation:
It’s one of those situations that I hope some positivity comes out of it because I think it’s so unfortunate and love will really make you do some crazy things.
Ed Lover: Since Breezy is your man, why do you think he is being so protective of [Rihanna] when it doesn’t seem to be reciprocated on the other side?
I think it’s because I know he understands what happened. That’s one thing that he told me “As a man, the situation that happened shouldn’t have happened so I’m not going to make excuses for it. I’m going to take responsibility and whatever it is, is whatever it is. Because I feel the way you feel.
Ed Lover: You told him “Tell Everbody your side of the story”?
Yea and he was like “Nah, I’m a man, I made that mistake and I’ll take that with stride”…and I respect that.

(CNN) -- Days after Chris Brown took to his Twitter page accusing stores of "blackballing" his new album, "Graffiti," the singer's account was deleted after he left a final message to his fans. "I WANNA THANK MY FANS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT," said Brown's final tweet, posted Monday afternoon. "I LOVE YALL. GOODBYE!!!!!!!!!!!!" Over the weekend, Brown went on a tirade after he visited a Wal-Mart store in Connecticut and didn't see his album on shelves. "The didnt even have my album in the back ... not on shelves, saw for myself," he tweeted. Brown said he spoke to the manager, who had no answers. "the manager told me that when there are new releases its mandatory to put em on the shelves. BUT NO SIGN OF #GRAFFITI. BS," he tweeted. He continued to say that Alicia Keys' new album was stocked and ready for release, though it wasn't due out until Tuesday. Video: Chris Brown blows up on Twitter Fans began instantly replying with unverified stories about their attempts to buy Brown's CD. The singer began retweeting, or forwarding the tweets out, some of which claimed when fans asked when the shelves would be restocked they were told "never," and allegations that managers said they didn't support "woman-beaters." News of his outrage spread quickly and many media outlets began reporting on his complaints. Brown began using Twitter as a way to connect to his fans after he pleaded guilty and was sentenced for beating his then-girlfriend Rihanna. Whether it was an attempt to garner favorable public relations in the wake of an image-shattering event or just a late adaptation to the microblogging craze, Brown had spent the months after the incident using his Twitter account to reach and connect with 172,366 followers. He tweeted regularly thanking his fans for their continued support and sounding off after concerts. It was unclear what specifically sparked Brown to delete his account, named "mechanicaldummy," He had started the day with a normal "good morning" message to his fans.

Hes so lame *sigh* If hes a 'man' , instead of 'protecting' her and keeping what he did under wraps .. OWN UP TO IT IN PUBLIC WITH ACTUAL DETAILS. Far out >_>

havent seen a seperate thread for this, but his violent antics persist because the interviewee on Good Morning America asked him about the incident

I saw that. His attitude is disgusting. What's even more saddening is the backup and compassion he gets from his fans. I am usually never on the medias' side, they can often be lame and irrelevant. But this time around, he should not be defended. What he did two years ago was wrong. I truly wish he would have retired from the limelight and not produce another album. It's sad that some people can still find him relevant and buy his stuff.

Disgusting......... Reading some comments from readers on Perez Hilton also made me sick to the stomach (as in giving an excuse for domestic violence)!!! :yuk::yuk:

His violent behavior is just off the charts -- what's even more worrying are these stans he has flooding message boards attacking anyone with a sane opinion about his behavior.
