I've watched the video and decided what the show should have looked like. Picture this, all black and charcoal set, a big threadbare black velvet curtain draping half of the runway, open just enough for models to peek out from and falling down in other spots. Billie Holliday's voice mixed with a sexy Massive Attack sort of beat. One big spotlight on the girls, everything else dimmed. Very Harlem Renaissance/Blanche Du Bois in Streetcar, sexy, seedy, broken glamour.

He was a third of the way there, with the makeup, clothes and Billie Holliday section on the soundtrack, but it still needed a big push.

He should hire me to produce the shows.

Oh well, there's still Saturday to look forward to before I give up on s/s 08 for the shear boredom of it all.

yah, sting was the first part; then i'm pretty sure after sting was billie holliday, but the last two songs were deffinitly like current songs maybe by a UK artist.

OK so Im very late on this I went ahead and thought Id check out last seasons show before this one came in and it was GONE!!! and here this one was......um idk I dont like the middle section w/all the cheetah and the first section was kinna weak the dresses towards the end were great but nothing really new. I think even the people there were feelin it those claps were VERy weak and it stopped like half way through the models final ( MODELS? a few were off too like they all had too much to drink or like they knew the clothes were ugly)...Its just really weak to me and very predictable...the make up hair was gross at the start imo it did not match and the final look was sloppy....I LOVE Dior and I even liked the cruise 2008 but this? this is just not my favorite collection I dying to see what the journalist say HEy btw did anyone watch style.com when Anna wintour said NY fashion week was flat? I wonder what she had to say about this?
