I dont like anything!! nowadays, Dior catwalk is just about the show and the performance, Galliano is still very creative but... thre´s sth missing, he needs a breack because he is beginning to repeat himself.

I think there is intense pressure on Galliano from his bosses to produce stuff that will be instantly coveted, nothing too "different." I'm thinking about how daring his shoe designs were at one point. The leopard print platform sneakers, the Queen Mum with all of the studded straps and spikes... Tacky, maybe, but it felt more John Galliano than this. This takes no thought. A zebra trenchcoat? A leopard negligee dress? Where did all of the crazy signature prints go?

I know!!!! I miss the shows of pre-2005! There was something about those shows! The music was phenomenal, the mirrored runway was glamorous and expensive looking beyond belief!

I miss that atmosphere that those shows had.


His recent shows are beautiful (FW 07), but the presentation is boring, slow and average. The music is lame R&B (remember when Jeremy Healy would put together those mixes for the shows....they're the most amazing runway soundtracks I've ever heard! They always enhanced the mood, were super creative and the songs fit the clothes...now it's just a playlist...no mixing).

i see the little pieced lace lingerie-ish dresses from the aw05 couture collection / ss06 rtw, and the exact same jaguar print from aw04... and zebra print and a few other ideas from a/w 1999

i mean, i like it, but it's nothing new at all... just a lot of rehash

the shoes do look FIERCE...

I like alot of it so far, the lingerie inspired pieces are beautiful and some lovely gowns like the red on mariacarla and a silver satin gown, and love the flapper inspired pieces, Im really over leopard and zebra right now, its been done to death, excited for more pics!

Yeah, he just needs to find that happy medium. His recent collections have just been to lethargic and I keep on waiting for that day he just whips back into shape.

I really like this... Not very innovative or anything but there are some amazing pieces in there (that black dress on Tanya!!)
I'm really excited to see the video... The venue isn't that great but the casting is fabulous and the models look amazing... I'm loving the hair and make-up and i'm sure the music can make this show 10 times better...

I thought Dior S/S 07 was DIVINE!! One of my absolute favourites, like, ever. It didn't get that much excitement when you compare it to A/W 07, but I thought it was just absolutely sublime.

I'm not making judgements on S/S 08 'til I've seen it all.
