Right on, Diorling! Look at the sides of the shoes: straight on the (General) pump, curved on the Pigalle.

I think there are 3 styles we are talking about: the Pigalle (pointy-toed), the Simple Pump (round toe, pink shoe in Diorling's post), and the Clichy (rounded pointy toe, like the seesucker above).

Simple Pump is the shoe Jessica Alba is wearing, as well as the python and pink shoes posted above I think.

I have the Clichy in blue patent .. still training myself to walk in them though..

They really look like two different models to my eye, even taking the higher heel into account.

^ I was just thinking that, they're different shoes. The top is the round toe pump (General name) Im thinking.

Yes, the ones my lady has are called "Pin Up":

They are very similar to the Clichy, but not as low cut at the sides. The Clichy felt narrow (or going up a size, loose at the back - as I also noticed in this pic of J-Lo). These were a better fit for my lady.

The Pigalle's were also a similar narrow fit.

As mentioned before, these were the best fit for my lady, but were also in the best condition, looking no different to a new pair.

I love those pink ones, I generally hate the color pink but everything works on those pumps.

Just called the London Louboutin boutique. He informed me that they have no Clichy's in stock (4 or 5 inch) and won't be ordering any more, that they are ordering the Pigalle in for next season and the colors will be a burgandy red, black and forest green all in velvet. Does anyone know if you can specially order the Clichy's from the New York or Paris boutique. He informed that you couldn't order them from London.

Oh no! I love the Pigalle too, but had my eye on the black Clichy 5"ers .

The forest green in velvet sounds great for autumn (fall), but not really my style unfortunately. Aww I am sad now...

The US stores stopped taking special orders a while ago due to drastic increase in business. They simply couldn't fulfull them within a reasonable amount of time. I haven't spoken with my SA in quite some time though, so I don't know if they're resumed since then.

Yup I heard the same thing about the Clichy, there won't be any more shipments for now since the Pigalle is the style they will have for fall. However, I believe they will be continuing the Clichy for spring.. so if you can wait until December..!

I think I saw a picture of the velvet Pigalle in the August Glamour (with Nicole Kidman on the cover).. it's very pretty!!
