COS Collection of Style

^Nice buys! I agree, the sale was disappointing. I ended buying a cotton cardigan but not a sales item.

The same here. I went for the sale but ended up buying a non-sale item.:D

I can't wait to visit the store in Berlin. We don't have a shop where I live (what a shame!!). Is it any good in Berlin?

There are three shops in Berlin ^_^
I really loved their shops there -the one at Neue Schönhauser Strasse / Weinmeisterstrasse is quite big and cool (altough i heard that one at the Ku'Damm is the biggest one in Berlin - i didn't manage to go there during my trip to Berlin last summer...).
And there is a third one at the Friedrichstraße.

^I usually go to Friedrichstraße (just like yesterday and spent waayy too much  ) as I feel that the staff there is so friendly, they order things for you and check with the other stores whether items are available there and thtas definitely not common here :D

I'll be spending 4 months in Berlin next winter- I'll basically be living in the COS stores :P

i went for the first time in months yesterday. wow they have some amazing stuff this season!

the coral knits are so beautiful and there is a lot of lanvin-like slate dresses and heavy fabrics! have they got more expensive though? seems like even the simplest things are £65 now

I always felt like COS was a bit overpriced but I think they have gone slightly more expensive this season.

That's funny. I don't think it's overpriced at all...but then again, I live in Denmark, everything is overpriced.

^No, I agree with you (even though I live in DK too, LOL). When talking about overpriced - I think of brands like Acne or All Saints where the clothes are of significantly lower quality than you would expect from their price points.

I have never owned something from Acne that didn't fall apart during or before (!) the first wear. COS stuff holds up pretty well.

I bought a grey tee with pretty awesome seams for £15, something that The Row or Alexander Wang would charge £150 for...that's not overpriced to me :D

Yep. I definitely look at how well the garment holds up in comparison to the price when judging if something is "overpriced". COS is certainly not cheap, but the clothes last really well so I don't think it's overpriced or even expensive.

so any news on them coming to north america? i dont get why not....

this is the dress i love a lot. wish it was a little bit shorter and less see through though :P

I presume it's because of the competition? Isn't something like Banana Republic of similar concept?

no, there is just about no similarity at all between Banana Republic and what I know of Cos.
