COS Collection of Style

no, there is just about no similarity at all between Banana Republic and what I know of Cos.

Really? I had the impression that BR sold clothes of higher quality in the higher end price point of high street. Perhaps I was mistaken then.

^It's pretty much only conservative office-wear. It really has nothing to do with COS IMO.

^I don't think BR is as conservative as you suggest, but I wasn't saying that they were of similar style. Just concept. And I do think some of their clientele overlaps. With regards to style, I do think COS is more "edgy"? Not sure that's the right word but whatever.

I do think some of the things they have at COS are overprized, like I would never pay over 200DKK for a plain tee, but that's just me :innocent:
I did buy a really nice cardi at the COS store in Aarhus:smile:

^I dunno. 200 DKK isn't so bad if it last. A normal tee in H&M cost between 79-129 DKK but depending on your luck, the tee will lose it shape/get twisted seams/fade in colour/shrink etc. after a couple of wears.

Does anyone know how much these sandals are? I'm loving them in nude!

^I believe they are 590 DKK. I'm considering getting them in nude as well :P

That's not too bad! Unfortunately their smallest size is too big for me.

36? That's my size too. Are they too big by a lot?

Thanks, Tinetush

what is the highest shoe size they do its 41 isnt it i think?

^Stopped by today and found the sandals. The size was not bad on me. A little longer in length than normally, but pretty much a non-issue. I left them behind though, because I didn't like the feeling of the elastic bands and thought the colour was not as nude as I wanted.

BR is high end american style for office wear. COS is more Parisian and more fashion forward.

^Parisian? I don't really think so...I don't think it's any particular city's style, and that is what's so great about it.

^Agree about city. I do think there are designer/brands influences though

Returned from another trip today - of course ended up buying stuff even though I was supposed to return (dang it!)

I got some really nice tees - viscose and a tiny pocket on the left chest area in grey, white and navy. I don't know if it's overkill to keep them all, but I do need some good tees. A pair of lovely, nude coloured harem pants in 100% silk. A black pair of short, flat ankle boots. They are really nice, but a little heavy. I'll see if I can get some pictures up tmr.

But I was lusting so much for a pair of sandals that reminds me of these Chloe sandals:

Unfortunately, they told me they are totally sold out in sz 36. Ugh.

haha well clearly i dont know the brand since you know i dont actually get to shop there.

im just referring to the cleaner look and focus on cut rather than fast retail which i associate with parisian style.
