but i have been wearing these for years...faye dunaway wore them in the famous movie from the seventies where she played a fashion photographer...

what was the film caled? I love her wardrobe in Bonnie & Clyde

just for refernece...here are the same culottes that jenny whatever-her-name-is is wearing...
they are marc by marc...and she has no clue how to wear them...


helena...the movie is called 'the eyes of laura mars...'
she wore culottes because it was sexier than pants and she could still move around in them...here's a film still...wish i could find a better one...
the costume designer won an oscar for that film i believe...

the film is from 1978...her wardrobe basically looks like marc jacobs sexy secretary look...ruffled blouses tied at the neck w/ full culottes... high lthr boots and a big wool wrap or a nipped tweed jkt... very chic...

i wish i could remember the name of the costume designer....she's done a bunch of well known stuff...i believe the character played by dunaway was loosely based on either fashion photographer pamela hansen or deborah tureville...who used to shoot for vogue all the time back in the 70's...

i love coulottes
been wearing them over patterened tights and round toe pumps.
But still get weird looks on the subway. I'm looking to get a warmer pair in wool..maybe with a pattern
any suggestions?

I don't care whether the mass likes it or not. if you convinced of what you are wearing, it always looks good.

I have a pair of D&G white and tye dye culotte pants, theyr'e funky, I bought them at Fly Boutique for $75, but they're too tiny...still trying to loose the weight to wear them once at least
