My thoughts exactly. Brights would be too harsh on her, but everything she wears is soooo drab. I also can't stand the enamel flower clips in her hair - they make me think of a porcelain doll's accessories.

Refreshingly and relatively (especially considering her history) cute, except I'm not sold on the sweater (?) shirt. Burn all kitty shirts once you get to college, dear. It's kind of ironic that once upon of time I adored her style. In remembrance before she got all self-conscious and repetitive:

i'm sorry but those jeans are also hideous. they have that cute structure but those holes are awful and there's too much of them. the shirt looks too small on her.

i think she looked lovely at the met, I love the color of the gown, the fit and the detail on the skirt, and love the hair with the flower pins. the whole look suited her perfectly, it had a little bit of a princess but also ethereal feel

Those flashback photos just reinforce my intense dislike for her present style situation. She's becoming more "daring", sure, but it's doing absolutely nothing for her.
