Taking care of her hankering for Italian fare, Dakota Fanning was spotted at Il Sole in Los Angeles last night (April 5).

The “I Am Sam” actress looked snazzy in a summer straw hat along with a white top and jeans as she made her exit.

Dakota provides the voice for the lead role in the upcoming “Coraline” flick, and she explained that she sees similarities between herself and the character.

“I think we’re both very curious. I was trying to think if I saw a little door in my house would I go and open it and go through it and I think I would.”

She also noted that her gig has been a longstanding one, as the movie has taken a long time to complete.

“It definitely was. I was very young when I started and I’ve been working on this for about four years, so I definitely have grown up with Coraline.”

Bypassing the pretentious Beverly Hills salons, Dakota Fanning was spotted hitting up Rudy’s Barbershop in Silverlake, California yesterday (April 12).

The “Eclipse” actress looked cute and casual in a white button-up top and khaki trousers as she strolled out to her car.

In a recent interview, Dakota explained that while she’s been in some scary movies, there’s one flick she couldn’t bare to watch.

“I can’t pinpoint anything, but I was watching a movie with Kate Beckinsale and Luke Wilson called Vacancy. That was scary. I was so scared by that, I screamed. My friend told me I was breathing so loud, I had to stop it, but I was so scared!”
