Maybe I'm too much of a prude but I feel she's a bit too young to be grazing the cover of that magazine. I mean, she's only 17 years old and that magazine contains a lot of sexual content. I think she's more suited towards the Teen Vogue/Seventeen audience.

Dakota Fanning will be spending her beginning college years at NYU away from the bunk beds and claustrophia that most freshies endure, and instead, party study hard in an elegant Manhattan apartment.

The starlet is renting out this two-bedroom, two-bathoom unit for $8,400 a month.

It includes a kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, soaking tub, lots of windows and a sundeck with panoramic views of the city (for romantic study dates). And don't worry about our little girl's safety. The building also has a 24-hour doorman.

Plus, if she ever gets bored, John Mayer is reportedly her neighbor. We all know he's great fun.
