all these consultants are telling the same stories to these brands. That’s why the look all the same. You can drill down heritage all you want. But if the way you talk about it is predictable then it will never work or stand apart.

The "from /to " for product styling makes me nauseous. The erasure of Lee's vision is insane and how they managed to make it so bland.

Burberry need to set DL free and Renzo needs to ( in my dreams) give him the job at Jil Sander please. It is evident to me that the problem is not in his creations, but in management. @Lola701 I remember you echoing similar sentiments before, he is such a great designer, i wish they cherished his talent more.

Looking at this work both at Bottega and at Burberry (so sad how they erased his vision) I am convinced more and more he would have been the perfect choice for Loewe. The only logical one too. Isn’t Bottega Kering’s Loewe after all? Just looking at the slides above, his artsy direction is so on point with Loewe imho.

So basically they hired Lee to do weird clothes, because the classic image wasn´t working. But now that Lee´s collections aren´t working, they want to go back to the classic image again...
