Dark Circles and Eye Bags - Treatments and Suggestions

Sleep, healthy diet, plenty of water, excercise...

We all know that's not enough sometimes. I don't have an answer either, but I'm curious to find out... I've been using Chanel Précision Age Delay Eye for a while. It does seem to smooth things out; it also seems to enhance any fine lines I have and not moisturise enough. :ninja:

For the record, I have a bit of dark circles; no bags or puffiness. Yet.

i would agree with water... I like cucumbers on the eyes it makes me skin feel so cool. Also I've had some allergic reactions where my eyes puff like crazy and Clinique all about eyes (I think that's the name) really helped!

no origins no puffery eye stuff works, i use it, it doent get rid of all the puffiness but lots of it.

I second the All About Eyes suggestion

Two fresh green tea bags, soaked briefly in hot water, placed directly on your eyes (after they've cooled down, obviously...). Works for me everytime.

Another way is to gently massage your eyes under hot/warm water in the shower.

Ack i had that stuff, didnt work at all.

btw, i love your mac avatar!

thanks!

the All about Eyes helps when I am puffy with allergies or if I get a mosquito bite on my face-it reduces the swelling. (mosquitos LOVE me)

cooled tea bags(green or chamomile) on eyes for 10 mins to reduce the puffiness a bit then for black eyes I put this vita-k gel that just puts lotsa healthy vitamins for my eyes and then I place aveda tourmaline charged eye cream for the black eye and puffiness...

thats why after a night of party/staying up the next day when people are puffy and baggy around the eyes they wonder how do I look like a lil ray a sunshine still.

The tea bag thing works great for me as well.
The most bizarre treatment that works for a night of HEAVY partying in smokey places: Preparation H. Seriously!

Ive heard about this Preparation H stuff but i dont want it to not work on my puffy eyes and darkish areas.

I sometimes use a really gentle eye gel from The Body Shop and i read that a cold spoon left in the fridge for a while placed over your eyelids is good also for puffy eyes :flower:

I can't seem to get rid of the bags and dark circles under my eyes!! I'm only 20 years old, and they're so bad..like I've been beaten up.
I get plenty of sleep (usually 9 hrs a day), I never stay up late, I exercise, I don't smoke, or drink alcohol or caffeine, I don't have allergies, where is it coming from?? With my luck it's probably inheritance...I never inherite anything good, all my genes are bad.
Is there anyway to get rid of them??
I've tried drinking a lot of water to alleviate swelling and puffiness, cucumbers, ice, herbal tea bags on my eyes, vitamin e contents under my eyes, I've tried so many remedies and nothing works! I can't cover it up with make-up, is plastic surgery the only option for me??

my cousine tried Age Advantage undereye cream - dark spots gone...

i have ordered as well, but didn't try yet.

anything cold will reduce puffiness..cold cloth...eye pads...tea bags...eye gel...just keep the eye cream in the fridge...

gel is usually better than cream because it goes on cooler and therefore works immediately...also...who has time to lie there in the morning with tea bags on your eyes...

i use a drugstore brand-st. ives...cucumber&elastin eye and face stress gel...cheap and effective...and i use la mer eye cream at night...

the preparation H thing also really works...make up artists use it regularly...reduces swelling... :flower:

Lots of sleep and water and not eating salty foods. I have always had puffy, dark circles and they get worse if I
a) Am very pre-menstrual
b Snack too much and dont drink enough water
c) Dont get enough sleep (obviously)
Overall my whole body is
