i put them in personal style because this was long before the stylists infested the world so it was their personal style and not something impose upon them...

and i couldn't bear to have debbie inhabit the same section of tfs as paris...

softgrey, thanks for the links and i do understand your resentments towards the style section but i am in the mood to drive the "parises" away rather than being driven away by them. for me "style icons" are always people who influence or influenced in some way my personal style...so i could probably carry all of the aforementioned people (lee miller, anna karina, charlotte gainsbourg etc. etc.) to the personal style section but i´ll let them be here and defend themselves against olsens & co. o.k.?

Most of the time I don't bother reading the Paris/Jessica/Lindsay...threads
(I don't understand what they have in common with "stars" or "style" BTW) so it's a real treat for me .

I was waiting for a thread about this lady! She is the ultimate goddess in my book and i was lucky enough to stand a few feet away from her once and nearly died on the spot because she is so AMAZING.She also pointed at me and said "awww,cutie..."

I died and went to heaven

But getting back to the subject,she was THE first woman of rock and always will be...I mean,how many people can reach the "Call meeeee" notes?!?!? B)
