A success ?? last times I checked the Balenciaga stores near me - Paris and Venice (Venizia) - they were empty-empty.

I prefer Sabato over Demna. Demna is probably more talented but his style is the most passé thing in the world. He just did a collab with Puma. Way after the streets started wearing those sneakers… it doesn’t make any sense. Doing collabs in 2025. Insane.

We don't. I just think that Ford's Gucci (the 2000s period) filtered through Demna's aesthetic could be interesting visually. That's all. I am not expecting him to do that.

As a fan and long time customer of Hedi's designs I'm glad this wasn't his next project. Even though He's very product-oriented, this still didn't feel like the right place for him.

Personally I hope He can eventually take over Armani.

To be honest, I’m starting to think this was a desperate and last minute move and that they were in talks with Hedi or somebody else and it didn’t work out.

Otherwise it makes no sense at all. They said Sabato’s direction was the one they wanted to follow. Why would you say that when you have in mind doing something completely opposite?

Cantino and Francesca must have an IQ around 50.

He is probably the least “Gucci” designer ever. I’ve been in this forum for almost 20 years and a few more following fashion and I think I’ve never been more puzzled.

Edit: my biggest fear in the world aside from faux fur are the GG and Guccis monogram. Can you imagine how much of that we will have?
