I have a dimple on my chin and two on my back right above my butt. I don't like my chin dimple, my friends call it a chimple.

Awww i l-o-v-e dimples . i actually have one prominent dimple on my right cheek. i don't know if it makes my face less symmetrical, but i've come to learn to embrace my imperfections or any minor flaws. i think that dimples add youth"iness" to the face. so learn to love it! woohoo

When I was little I soooo wanted dimples. I used to sit with the blunt end of pens gently pushing into my cheeks hoping that they'd push dimples into them!

As an aside, I also wanted a turned up nose and would push the tip of my nose up (not at the same time as doing the pencil thing though, no free hands). All that happened is I'd end up with a big red nose-tip and a line across it.

Do you think these are examples of primitive plastic surgery?

I used to do the same thing when I was a kid, trying to get dimples! I already have a pig nose though, which I hate. When I have enough money I will get a nise job, to get rid of the fatness a bit, it widens so much when I smile, but I'm not sure if any thing can be done about the up-turned-ness!

To be honest, and no offense to anyone intended, I don't care for dimples on anyone.

It's a shame people feel this way. Yet ANOTHER way for somebody to be unattractive. Ya just can't win!

I only get one dimple on one cheek when I smile. My aunty has the same...

At first I didn't like it, 1) because being told how adorable you are can get old quickly, and 2) I wasn't quite sure what a dimple was! I'm quite fond of my dimple now, as I've learned 'adorable' can gain more for you than it takes away.

how funny, i have one dimple on my left cheek also, but i had an opposite approach when i was little, i didn't really like my dimple, cuz my cousin used to make fun of me, so i used to use a chopstick to push my dimple out from inside of my mouth hoping it would disappear, of course it didn't work, cuz it's still on my cheek.

i like guys with dimples too, my husband has two, i think i would be a little disappointed if our future kid doesn't have any dimples at all.

It's quite strange because sometimes when I smile a small dimple appears on my left cheek, but at other times when I smile there is nothing there! I would love to have them they are so cute. I think they look especially cute on boys when they have long hair aswel.
