I want one of those tight pants or jeans that the model wears on the runway.. I love it how this season it just got even more slimmer!Awesome...

The rest.. uhm.... pass.. don't even like the safari jacket...

I'll buy the white pants that went with the pink leather blazer on the runway.

yea that helps greatly, but 1 more question is i read somewhere that if the tag reads lets say a 32, its actually like a 34? so does a 31 = 33 ?

Hey EdK. Dior jeans are actually cut one size smaller than they would normall fit. I think this is because Hedi wants the jeans worn semi-loose and low slung. Typically if you fit a 32 in most other jeans, then you'd buy a 31 in Dior for a nice fit. As for the legs, there are usually 2 versions of most jeans. 19 cm opening and 21 cm opening. I personally find the 19 cm opening to be quite tight. All my jeans are 21 cm opening and they fit slim without being constrictive.

Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Albert

Are you sure the new season is tighter?
According to a buyer I know, its still 19 cm and only tailored for that look on the runway.
Its not good for me, since 19 cm is not tight around my legs..

I agree, the safari jacket is very overpriced and plain.
This season the quality is horrible!

eh, i'd say a 32 fits like a 33. Thats how I go by since I buy Dior 32's and usually wear 33s in other brands.

Does anyone know how much the blazers are from the coming S/S 2005? Especially the doubble-breasted? Consider buying one if they're not tooo expensive.

I am a little bit upset why nobody wants to comment my statement in dior homme last thread about essential link between
dior homme market policy-anorexia-cult anorexism look of hedi's oeuvres -and fashion victimacy..

i am sure (refer to topics in diorhomme msn group) that our obsession with clothes steals our last bite of bread...
thanks goddess of male outlook and all kentavres mixed forms between aphroditha and jamie del moon in luster (blonded long hair with jag print sleeveless shirt)
that I am quintessentially impecunious ,so my dietology is natural state of living..that;s why I took 7 kg from my weight since aug 2003 msn dior group if they remeber i had post a picture there me -before Graz opera....in dior homme influenced look..so on this photo I was 69kg...
when I describe this schizo dior boy in the thread "what is most essent for "designer's " look I note that the reason we mistake this mentaly handicaped persona with someone who had established dior homme look is his weight...all other things white flat shuz -sneakers Romika -it is bulgarian production under lecense of Adidas in mid 80's ,eyewear -fake us police ,army rayban ,hair and grey jeans every of this component couldn't account if he wouldn't be so slim..)

so there should be important dependency between money ,lost kilo -hunger-dior homme style -and over-prizeed marketing concept of LVMH

my friend shoot me with his cell phone camera when I was with this Tarl look...
mostly my hair and hat was almost similar..so ,if he can bluetoth-ing it to my e-mail I will be very happy to hear your estimation!!!

I wonder how much the pointy D belts are. =/ i hope they arent 400 dollars again, the fall 04 belts had a lot of detailing on the belt straps so i hope its not high again.

Quoted as Dior Homme NYC as saying, the leather ones with the pointed-D buckle will be for about USD250 while the variegated canvas ones for about USD200-210.

As far as I know, the hip-length jacket would cost about USD2.4-2.5k, but I'm afraid the double-breasted one would be more expensive because of the exquisite silver antique-inspired buttons.

Hope this helps.

thank god they arent 400+ again.

Sorry, there's a small correction - it's the variegated horizontal-striped canvas ones which cost about USD200-210. The canvas ones in florescent orange, red, pink and turquoise cost about USD250, so as the leather pointed-Ds.

I actually think its kinda bad that it has become cheap. As we all can see, the quality is not the same as before. I guess I kinda liked Hermes type pricing of before, you did get what you paid for.. even tho it's crazy overpriced (but that's not the point). It's supposed to be a couture type line for younger men :) Instead of living off bread and water for months, I'll have a normal life this season, as I don't think I'll buy anything, and even if I bought anything it won't ruin my economy ;) Maybe it's only a coincidence that the pricing is so low this season, after all, grungetype clothes that cost like Hermes is not the easiest thing to sell, or even design. You never know tho, the next season may be turbocharged as earlier collections, with glitter and sparkle and clothes that only the few of us would dare to use :> (Hope so!) And all that talk about this beeing the fall of Dior Homme is just crazy, 1 "cheaplooking" collection, and 1 collection whose pricing was somewhere in the middle (FW 04), doesn't warrant "the fall of Dior Homme". I mean did you really expect that Hedi would top off Strip or make an even more aggressive collection? Not that I'd complain tho :).

Thats correct, Its more like one size larger, not 2.

Indeed.

Though i found that sizing did run 2" larger in jeans pre-Luster when the sizing was then quoted in European sizes instead of the current waist measurement.

Magnum, i agree. I rather they charge and i pay more if quality is guaranteed to be the best possible.

Raimund, my denim from Luster & Strip are Made in Japan, possibly the Made in Italy were from VoTC onwards as opposed to post-Follow Me?

Don't mean to take this off topic, but I can tell you what the dependencies are, on the designer scale and on the commercial scale. One the designer scale, apparently Hedi's sexual preferences are anorexic looking boys with a touch of innocence - they are his muses, so to speak. On the commercial scale, making a slim cut is making the collection inaccessible to most potential customers. When you make something inaccessible, you make it very desirable. So Hedi was allowed to cut slim for a few seasons. Now that the public is really hungry for the clothes, oops, the cuts are no longer slim, and the public can happily spend money on Dior Homme (it is not coincidental that the prices went down as well, but the value went down even more). A typical marketing move in the world of fashion.

They have the pink ones at Jeffrey, but they're not as vibrant as the runway pics would have you believe.
