Hi! They're new with tags. I suspect they're the 18cm (or 19?) hem, they're quite tight on my calves.

Also, I'm finding it odd that you can't buy the huge silk bow and the cummerbund as individual accessories. Do LuisaViaRoma have everything from the collection or do more pieces eventually come in?

you know, I am also really considering making some pieces myself or at least attempting to really soon. I don't know how much skill it involves but I would really love to learn how to tailor my DH dress shirts. For my size, 39, the body and the arms always seem too loose. That's kind of a downer when you are paying $150-$350 for a shirt.

BTW did anyone of you snatch any good deals on YOOX? They posted like a dozen things I saw this morning but all the good sizes were gone when I last checked. There was a sweet leather jacket in my size too that someone else had bought, oh well

It would be awesome to be able to make shirts but I hear shirts and jackets are extremely difficult. I just made the silk bow out of two black ties though, that was quite easy. My version is smaller but so much more wearable.

if I remember correctly when the S/S 06 season came in, everything they were selling was listed when the site was up, in other words, I did not notice any new arrivals for the season on the LVR website weeks or even months after the collection was available to purchase. Please correct me if I am wrong anybody.

I'd say if you are CERTAIN you want a particualr item and don't have access to a DH store then the time to buy is now.

For the sneakers i was looking for them like crazy a month ago and havent see them anywhere.....
I saw them once in Selfridges at the early beginning of the collection at the beginning of the sales and never see them anywhere else. Some sales assistant i talked with told me they never saw them and havent find them in stocklists too.

Maybe you should repeat your question (let's say... three or four times) until someone aswer you!
These jeans are from past winter. You won't find them online, I even think they weren't sold online (not on elux, nor on LVR). You can also pray God during 3 hours every night until Yoox decides to resell them.

ANYWAY new stuff on LuisaViaRoma! Some ugly jewels, some weird striped scarf and hat, a very yummy long bicolor scarf (kinda love it!)

But unfortunately, they don't stocked those bloody cummerbunds, as well as those super-wide bow ties (I want them, I'll pay whoever tell me where to find them online soon)

[BTW totally off topic, but what's up w/ the women's Alx McQueen stuff? Everything is awful! where is the runway's stuff?]

I doubt the super wide bow ties will be for sale anywhere online...except MAYBE ebay for an extremely jacked-up price. I'm glad though...If they were available online I wouldn't like them as much.

The cummerbunds may be available on elux...I could see it being something they would make alot of money off of, therefore they would sell it.

I'm actually getting more and more curious about the cummerbund... I could actually see myself wearing it with a black suit and crisp white shirt while going out drinking at a classy joint. Now, the question is: what's the price?

I recently picked up two pieces from elux on sale. The pima cotton tank and the "and if I start a commotion" tee. The new cotton they use for the tees is surprisingly nice. It's not the same as the good ol Follow Me cotton, but it's like American Apparel cotton but thinner while staying just as soft. That being said, it's still a relatively straightforward tee. None of the nice details like a rounded hem or side slits from the days of yore.

SAVE YOUR MONEY. Get a pair of white converses my friend. Seriously.

Or the classic white converses


Once you've got a pair of jeans over the upper portions of these sneakers, they are absolutely identical to the DH ones.

There are times to buy DH, and times when not to. This is a time to save yourself a few hundred bucks and buy $50 Chucks my friend.
