Dita Von Teese

Dita is such an inspirational woman. she is sexually free and one of the highest style icons ever. She epitomises old style glamour which is badly in need of a revival. She is the future in so many ways! Love Her! Her being married to Manson has nothing to do with her career. She was well known before they got married, just now shes more mainstream than burlesque girls usually are as they are seen as inappropriate. She is really somebody to admire!

:crush: Yet another beautiful dress worn by Dita. I'm assuming it's Prada? I can always ask Dita herself.

How could someone so vulgar dress with such great taste? It's quite perplexing to me....

Actually they got married like a long time ago..Creepy I may add... Shes beautiful... he is NOT!!!!

I agree with what Litchick wrote!Dita is unique and separates herself from all other female celebs when it comes to style!Dita personnoffies glamour and not just through clothes but also with make up and her pure presence.I really like her because she is the only one we have today that has the best of the past&future and knows how to mix it beautifully!

Unfortunately Dita's "look" isn't unique anymore, now that Christina has sought of stole it.

   But thats exactly why she does i think!Christina looks ridicilous in some of her outfits while Mrs Dita can pull off the look like it was made for her,Aguilera cant:( And it proves that her style is unique and that it trandcendes not only in clothes but mannerizem.
Dita manages to look like a lady with bright red lipstick while Christina dosent look ladylike but naughty!

i absolutely love dita, but i'm not sure that her look was ever so unique. that said, she does it well - she's kind of like the spokesperson for a stereotype. (of all the bettie page girls you can see on the streets of new york or l.a. on any given day since the mid 1980s)

^hum, I wouldn't say that she fits in the "bettie page lookalike" category (nowadays); her look has always a strong 40s vibe.(and if you think of all the rockabellas out there, all they've got in common with dita are the pencil skirts and her sometimes polka dotted clothes)

christina does the dita style in a totally different way so they should never be compared. dita's way of doing it is a way of life, christina is just feeling a trend. shes trying to madonna makeover but its not working as she just looks like a blonde copy of dita. dita is true!

a stereotype is usually a sweeping generalization, so i guess i was considering anyone with pale skin, black hair and red lips who wears vintage clothes to fit that one (including myself). sure, everyone has their own little twist on it, but such subtle differences are often lost on most people. i'm not saying it's right, just that that's the group they will inevitably put her in.

:D I think its hilarious how people actually bash this woman for being too "costumey," "pale," "doing the same thing all the time," etc etc.

Take at look at 95% of female Hollywood. They are ALL blonde, tan and hookerish down to every last one; even the women-of -color!! AT LEAST she has class. AT LEAST she acts like a lady AT LEAST she sticks to A STYLE and is not a trend wh*re like cough-Lindsay, cough-PAris cough- Ashelee/Jessica Simpering-idiot-son.

I think she's beautiful and I love that she does her own thing in the face of the barbie machine that is Hollywood nowadays.
