I always wonder about her height. She was barely taller than Salma Hayek in the pics posted earlier in this thread and Salma is tiny. Sometimes she looks really small, on other time she looks average. Hard to know though the girl probably sleeps in her stillettos !

That's what I figure. I know she's so proud to say "it isn't ladylike" to talk about politics. In actuality, it isn't ladylike to sound stupid and callous and like you don't know what's going on in the world. I think all great courtesans knew about politics and Dita only cares about fashion. She has the look down, but you can tell she isn't a genuine "lady" at those times and is only quoting what she read in some etiquette book from the '20s or '30s. I'm conflicted about her for these reasons.

Yes. She used to say she was 5'3-5'4 I believe. She has added more to height because she wants to be able to join models on the catwalk. Agencies and such are very technical sometimes so it sometimes makes more sense to fib about the height.

You're right and I thought about that, but I've also seen her say that it isn't ladylike to talk about politics and I can only imagine that she said either what she was quoted as saying or saying in some fashion "no comment", which to me, is tasteless just the same considering the topic. Who would she have offended if she said nobody should die? Or, she is simply uninformed about what is going on outside of her wardrobe? Just at least tacky either way.

So orchide.. is she as perfect as she appears? I just want to know if she is as im led to believe always dressed to perfection, makeup, hair, nails etc?
Sorry if these questions seem personal.
I just wonder because most people, even those who appear perfect on red carpets you see candids of them with their hair pulled back, no makeup and sports clothes etc. Ive only ever seen one candid of her and marylin manson. She was as i said in a singlet and had her hair tied back. I cant recall if it was from this forum. I would post it but i dont have a source.

No, she doesn't smoke. She may use cigarettes as a prop in photos at times, but that is all. OH! Although I do believe I have heard her mention a cigar - but I'm sure that's rare.

She looked absolutley stunning. She was wearing a long jacket so I really dont know what was underneath. She was wearing tights, so I assume it was a skirt or dress. Her engagement ring was BLINDING!!!

i was not attacking you either, melly - just informing, as it's hard to tell what size people really are in photographs. i've gone through life ranging in sizes 2-6 but have always thought i had big hips, so yes, it's nice to see someone like dita celebrate curves, regardless of her size.
