Did anyone in the UK see the Faking It Burlesque that has been running these past couple of days? I saw it last night and there is a bit with Dita in it. She sounds somehow different than I would think that she would. She looked great though. I like her Q&A.

Yeah, I heard her speak in a few of the Style.com S/S 07 fashion show videos. I expected her to sound much more elegant and sophisticated, but she sounds very average American. I kinda like that.

Was she a red head? If so than that was Catherine D'Lish. She has been friends and worked with Dita for a number of years. They are the best of friends and Catherine was Dita's maid of honor at her wedding. She also makes most of Dita's costumes. She is quite a talent herself!!!

Richard Johnson of the New York Post's Page Six column reports that Marilyn Manson's wife, burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese (real name: Heather Sweet), has filed for divorce after only a year of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences."

According to Page Six, Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, will be served with divorce papers today at a Los Angeles recording studio where he's working on his next album.

Page Six's sources say the raven-haired bombshell filed for the split right before Christmas, but Manson has been unaware of it because she couldn't get in touch with him.

"He's not been responsive," a friend said, according to Page Six. "She loved him so much, but he has too many demons. He can't even communicate with her at this point. She tried to tell him she was divorcing him, but she can't even get him on the phone. She moved out of the house and he hasn't even noticed."

When the end of Dita Von Teese & Marilyn Manson's marriage was confirmed today, those of us obsessed with fashion sobbed, "oh no!" Irreconcilable differences aside, no couple has worked the red carpet with more flair than these two the past few years. Always decked out in perfectly coordinated couture attire -- just look them here in Technicolor glory at a Marc Jacobs' store opening in Los Angeles! -- they made Ashton and Demi seem like frumps in comparison. Something about her 1940's Marlene Dietrich-glamour complimented his dandy Goth getups just perfectly. (On their wedding day, Dita wore a purple Vivienne Westwood gown, while Manson opted for a John Galliano frock coat). How many couples wear matching red lipstick? But, alas, style is not everything and fashion cannot replace happiness. We can't help but wonder who will take over their extreme fashion throne. Perhaps Christina Aguilera and hubbie Jordan Bratman?
