dita will be attending the vienna opera ball this year by invitation of richard lugner (a wealthy construction magnate + society "favourite" :innocent::yuk:). oh dear, she has NO IDEA what she's getting herself into.
I'm quite annoyed by the fact that she's clearly attending the ball just for publicity (millions of people world wide actually watch it on TV), the ball itself is totally overcrowded, feudal and lame. no serious artist would ever be caught dead attending it...

NB.: concerning the MAC "studio mist foundation"/ MAC foundations in general: do there exist any lighter shades than those shown at the official homepage? I use a NC15 (lightest shade available at my local perfumery),but it's actually a little too dark(!) for me,and I've got by no means lighter skin than miss von teese. (I've also once used the studio mist foundation, which was also too dark) ...

Dita Von Teese is collaborating with Wonderbra on a limited edition lingerie collection, entitled “Wonderbra by Dita Von Teese“.
“I’ve been passionate about beautiful lingerie my entire life, so to team up with Wonderbra is a great privilege for me and I am immensely proud of my collection,” Dita had said of her 40’s-influenced burlesque style lingerie. “I really hope that with this new range I can share my passion for sensual, wearable lingerie that will add a touch of glamour to people’s lives.”
Wonderbra’s European marketing director, Debbie Rix, adds: “Dita understands how to make a woman feel sexy. She is a natural fit for the Wonderbra brand.”
Wonderbra by Dita Von Teese launches in September.

For the latest pics of her, all I have to say is that high fashion can also be someone's undoing. Oy! Who knew that part of the '80's was back.

*swoons* She's wearing the jeweled heel Diors that I've been longing for!!

You can get lighter shades but they are only available from there stand alone stores, no the concession in department stores. I too wear NC15 and it's too dark for me as well, I need to get to a MAC store to investigate other shades myself!
