Doc Martens revival

I've been wearing mine everywhere lately and they are the most comfortable shoes I own. You can walk for hours and your feet don't hurt. Great bouncy sole.

What exactly do you mean by 'junk fashion'? Because you came across as being a little...rude. Just because something isn't your taste, doesn't make it 'ugly'.

besides sounding rude it's also pretty narrow-minded. combined with the right clothes they can look pretty girly and sweet
and sure, many punks wear them, but i wouldn't call that "junk fashion" either, punks have influenced fashion many times in a lot of ways and although you don't have to agree with their sense of "aesthetics", calling it "junk fashion" is just stupid

I have to agree. To my personal opinion, they're just not that good looking and I don't think I'd ever own a pair, no matter how popular they got (again). They're so clunky and ick. But that's just me.

Tiffany7: I have those heeled Docs. You can most likely find them on British sites willing to ship internationally (I got them from Browns but I don't think they carry them anymore). I think the Opening Ceremony site has them, but for 2X the price

I'm not a huge fan, but they can look really good if paired with the right clothes. I hate the big boots though, but I they're better than, say, Crocs.

I want some floral Docs for fall! I love the look of the white, but I think black would be more practical.

Does anyone remember the slip-ons with the flower cut-out? I had those in white in 6th grade and loved them, though many people thought they were ugly
