Doc Martens revival

I want a pair of black ones oh so badly!!!
I've been searching thrift stores like a maniac! All I have found are some yellow ones that are a little too small and ones with the british flag on them (awesome but too small)

I bought some black eight eyes today from a thrift store!
I'd been looking for ages and they're in really good condition. I think I got them for like one fifth of what they retail for here in Aus

I'm always off and on with them. I'll see someone wearing them and think they look really cool. Then I go online to buy them and feel like a crazy person.

I did exactly the same thing when I saw someone wearing them the other day. I love the idea of them with little vintage dresses and cardigans but I'm just not sure if it's something I could pull off - I'd love to be able to though, but it's quite a risk!

^ yesterday i just wore them with black leggings and a black tank dress thing, still trying to decide what i can wear them with without looking totally ridiculous haha

I have those delightful. However for me I don't like wearing them besides in the snow or rain. I'm petite and they're kind of exhausting since they're kind of heavy. I wear mine with skinny jeans.

i remember someone in this thread mentioned the bottom of the heel of their Chloe Doc coming off.... same thing happened to me! except I realized it when I got home and I couldn't find that little heel cover anywhere!!!

^I think you can bring it to a good cobbler and get it covered up. It probably won't be the exact same thing but it's better than just leaving it exposed like that.

Yeah it is!! Im really obsessed because the styles she wears in the movie are exactly my quirky style for winter lol. I need that hair... & I just cut mine into a pixie (alittle over 2 inches all over)... I wonder how long itll take to get to that length lol.

Im not even sure if the shoes are Doc Marten but I know they make a pair that looks identical so if anyone has a clue.... thanks.
