The shapes remind me of a s/s 08 and a s/s 09 hybrid. I like some of the pieces I've seen, but I haven't seen all of it yet so I can't really judge. I am however very intrigued.
Although I must say I preferred the Bowie shirt to the Marilyn dresses.

EDIT: Just saw the whole thing and I do like this, although I still think it's like a s/s 09 for fall. Which isn't a bad thing.

Me too. The Marilyn dresses are OK though. The music of the show is amazing! I really love this collection.

I like the make-up and the hairbands, plus some of the clothes.. but I agree the majority doesn't work and the Marilyn dresses disturb me. They do look very cheap indeed, she'll be turning in her grave!

I felt underwhelmed with this collection. I agree that the big shoulders kind of killed it. Too creative. The Monroe prints almost seemed like an act of desperation (in my opinion). It's sad most of the pieces were hits and misses for me. hmm.

Oh god...this collection is so blah. I've looked through the collection several times and still cannot even remember what it all looks like. These poor guys are in such a rut.

I almost think they need to ditch the location, ditch the mirrored runway, ditch the mind numbing remixes of Top 40 hits, ditch the silly ballgowns and just start totally fresh.
