Good show! I like the looks...it's very sleek, sexy, and classy. I see a lot of Tom Ford in these looks.

That David Gandy! omg...I need a minute brb! lol

Way better than what I anticipated. Finally a proper Dolce & Gabbana collection with minimal trash.

good god, i love this. except for some icky pieces here and there. at least it proves that F/W 08 was just a dud.

i litterally gasped and mouthed "i love!" at this look http://men.style.com/slideshows/mens/fashionshows/S2009MEN/DGABBANAMEN/RUNWAY/00110m.jpg

it's formal, dressed up but with a casual vibe to it. you can compare it to the Prada pajamas, but seriously, that sh!t was unwearable (combined with the socks+sandals?)

the pieces with the asian prints are very Gucci, but Tom Ford Gucci, not crappy Frida Gucci.

not a lot of colors, but there's lots of variations on Navy and Blue, which i love, so i'm a happy camper.

god i hope this makes it to the store here...

those chinese prints are gorgeous!:woot: they are still classic, but they just know how to put the sexy edge in it.

I guess the glasses are meant to give the models a touch of Clark Kentish civility before they abandon their pajama suits and hop into bed with the nearest man, woman or some combination thereof.

This could be far worse, but this is more or less a trashier Milanese mutation of the foppish Lanvin aesthetic. Those Asian prints need to go, but the rest should be serviceable for the Dolce dude.

In a fantasy life I'd wear a good 80% of this. The pajama/loungey suits in ivory, taupe and inky black all have a slouchy sexiness that I really like. I also really like the patterns they're playing with, mostly the silks with tiny polka dots and the jacquards that popped up for evening. I even sort of like the Asian printed pieces, though I have to say if you've ever seen Tom Ford's $10,000,000 opium den brocade robes in person, these look like sad knockoffs. Still, they aren't completely unappealing.

^ I can agree about the Tom Ford's robes, but i would love to see Jason Lewis in this collection. Just a playful fantasy of mine.

seems to me that nearly all models are wearing the glasses... will that be a trend for S/S 2009??
