Don't waste your money on...

L'Oreal Sublime Bronze

This stuff is CRAP! I used it, and the next day came to school with an ORANGE face! Ugh totally not recommended.

I really dislike almost any products from Clinique, especially the 3-step. I guess it's personal but it made my skin terribly itchy and red :(

I was reading another forum where this 3-step stuff was nicknamed "battery acid", must be true then...

I would stay away from Neutrogena facial bars...glycerin made me break out in hives...yuck

I saw a lot of people don't like john frieda brilliant brunette products but I have to say that they did miracles on my hair. I've tried so many expensive products but this did the job like no other. My hair was soft, shiny, thick before I began to process the hell out of it, and at one point last year I decided that was enough. My hair was such a mess and nothing I was trying would help it. But I started using Brilliant Brunette and it honestly worked miracles on my hair. I am now happy to say that I have about seven inches of awesomely healthy brown hair, and the rest of it, the part that has been processed, is in a lot better shape than it was.

I would have to agree on Jessica Simpson's Dessert line being pretty much worthless. The lip glosses don't "plump" as advertised, and they last a max of 20 mins. The body butters and any lotions definitely do not work AT ALL in ways of moisturizing. That being said, I am COMPLETELY addicted to the scents and have shelled out hundreds of dollars for her line just for the short thrill.

I am not much of a makeup junkie but I can say that I used Benefit pressed powder a while back and really, really didn't like it. It didn't go on any better than a drugstore brand, in my experience.

rimmel mascara. i only tried the one with the "comb" applicator(kate moss did the commercial), and it was awful! you couldnt even see the teeth on the comb because the mascara was caught inbetween it and it made my lashes SO unbelievably clumpy!

i heard such great reiviews about this mascara too

L'Oreal Re-Finish Microdermabrasion Kit - Got a free sample from a L'Oreal booth in the mall and one use sent me straight to the doctor. My face was sore and red for two weeks!

Tarte Lipbalm - really waxy, just sits on top of your lips and doesn't moisturize at all.

Maybelline Volum Express Mascara Waterproof - brush is crap, I actually looked like having less lashes after applying...

MAC Powerpoint Eyeliner in Engraved (black) - it's not dark enough and doesn't stay on longer than non-waterproof liners (although it stayed longer on the back of my hands than others)

anything wet 'n wild. i rather pay a bit more bucks to get something that's better quality.

Any of the lotions from the Dessert or Dessert Treats line! They are very runny and sticky, and they start to smell yucky after some wear...they go from being sweet-smelling to "icky sweet" smelling. They also taste bad.

I dragged my boyfriend to the mall and made him smell it at the store and he agreed that it was gross.

I was tipped off when I heard that it was makeup you can eat. I just pictured my boyfriend licking the side of my face because my foundation tastes like candy

I fell for the stupid ad and bought the Veet Rasera Bladeless shaver gizmo. Save your $$$! You can't even shave when you want--you have to leave it on between 3-6 minutes only--so you've either got to wait for it to work or hurry up after you've put the shaving cream on. They actually instruct you to time the stuff and not to exceed 6 minutes. If that wasn't enough, the damned stuff burnt my skin. It didn't work any better than a regular razor--false claim about lasting longer.

I tried to use the bladeless thing with various moisturizers to see if it would work that way, and it didn't. It was a total waste of money, and the cream burned quite a bit--even after I washed it off.

My cousin is really acne-prone and she wanted to buy some sunscreen that is good for skin like hers, she went with Clinque instead of Biotherm. I never used either product so when she asked for my advice I just said go with your instinct and now I feel sorry. The lady at the counter was a total ___, I can't believe my cousin actually brought their sunscreen after the lady bashed her dermatologist and kept pushing her to buy other products. I feel bad for not telling her to go to Biotherm. This is exactly why I hate going to department stores.

Bourjois blush, don't know what's the name of it. It has zero lasting power, although the colours are great.

Hard Candy Eye Shadows...always think they look pretty in Sephora..make the mistake of buying it...and they're always much too glittery-and the glitter drops down and spreads

Revlon Skin Lights Loose Powder...It is wayy too many sparkles and no matter what shade looks completely unnatural. Not only that but use it more than a day and it gets everywhere somehow. Even on the black dashboard of my Jetta- I was so mad.

kiehls sunscreens for the face-- they just sit on your face and you look like an oil slick!
