MK wasn't too bad, and she's looks very glamorous...but she looks very short and odd. Her part didn't really add anything to the film and I can see why they cut it out.

I loved the film, even though I know its probably not very factually correct. I thought Sienna Miller did a fantastic job...her voice especially! Guy Pierce was great too!

Today I bought the book, Edie by Jean Stein. Has anyone read it? I'm halfway through the second chapter and I'm getting very lost with all the names and its moving quite slowly...nothing about Edie specially. Should I keep going? I don't want to damage the book, because I'm tempted to return it... I expect it'll become more interesting?

Yeah you should def keep going, it gets better...and the first part of the book is just to get a picture of how big Edie's family is, and how that might have affected her. But it's more about her later on :D

It seems that the only way Ill ever see Factory girl is if I buy it on amazon.
its not coming to Iceland!
I am dying to see this movie even though you all say its awful.
I know, it didn't come to Norway either, but i't no problem to order it from amazon :D

yeah i know, i've seen it, but i kinda thought it would come to Norway too.

Anyway, I just bought these earring off ebay :d

If you refer to the family tree in the back of the book it helps a ton because they mention so many people in the beginnning and it shows you how they are related to Edie. Keep going! It is a wonderful book.

Oh wow. I was thinking the whole...this would make a whole lot more sense if there were a family tree! And it was tucked away at the back! Thanks babydoll.

And loonaka...thanks!

I'm still going...up to Ch 8 now!
