^ No, I don't think so. It was written to sound like the Irish jig " Molly Malone". It's about a girl with no money and curly hair. Doesn't sound like Edie to me.
Thanks though! xx

Sorry if these are repost, but I miss having pics in here.

Thanks Gia! I miss seeing pictures, too. It's nice to see old rare ones more often. On a lot of sites the same pictures of Edie are used and it seems like i've seen them a million times but there are some pictures that i haven't seen for so long they seem like new!

Stamoholic, have you read A Tree Grows In Brooklyn? I think the father sings Molly Malone a lot in it and he's Irish so that would make sense.

The only photographer I know of that is famous for his photos of Mariyln Monroe is Bert Stern. But i've seen him in interviews and he seems nice so i don't know.

Quite funny I was just reading the book Model: Ugly Business of Beautiful Women, and Bert Stern had a huge photo studio in NY and an apartment just a block away from his studio. He was known to be a notorious model poon chaser, in fact, I've believed for years he was the one she was talking about in the video.

A piece of funny connection, Bert Stern photographed the cover of August 1965 Vogue, it was the same issue that Edie first appeared in Vogue as a youth quaker on the rhino. Here is the link with Edie's photo see for yourself!!

Interesting! I didn't know that they made so many postcards. They would be a cool thing to collect of people you're interested in.

Weird, i don't think that's true because i've seen the book and i would remember that because i would be furious! Where did you hear that?

Book Description
She was riveting to look at, a sprite of the zeitgeist, the living distillation of the over-amped vision of New York in the mid-sixties. Like many exotic creatures that Andy Warhol shed his light on, she initially bloomed—became the symbol for all that was hip and stylish—and just as quickly began to disintegrate. Told with unsparing candor and with candid images that capture her at the peak of her Factory stardom, Edie Factory Girl is the short but enduring cultural story of Edie Sedgwick—releasing in time for the film of the same name starring Sienna Miller, and including rare photos of Miller as Edie.

Thx SusanSuperstar, and I have that book and I don't remeber seeing Sienna anywhere in it.
