^ I've never seen Factory Girl, and I'll not watch it either.

I'm a fan of Edie. I dunno how I even heard of her! Lol!

The film sounds pretty bad though...

I wouldn't worry too much about it. The movie is why I became interested in Edie. I'm sure there is some truth to the film; everyone's just a little defensive of Edie as a person and of Andy. A lot of her story is unknown and I'm pretty sure the only people that are aware of what actually transpired between Edie and Andy, are Edie and Andy. Maybe we're not meant to know everything.

Yeah, I see what you mean, I too became interested in Edie after the movie. I had been wanting to read her and Andy's biographies and other books about them, but never really got around to it. That's probably why I base all my information from the movie.

That's about the only good that came from Factory Girl, people becoming interested in Edie. But i don't think they should have made a movie about them when so much is unknown. I find it disrespectful to both of them (especially with the bad acting and trashy sex scene! :innocent:)

I totally agree with you on the sex scene. I actually have a funny story about it (well its funny to me.)
Well my friend was on a flight to Europe, and Factory Girl was one of the movie choices you could pick for your tv. So she picked that, not knowing of the explicit content. I should also note that this was a class trip so she wasn't alone. So she's watching the movie right, and then comes the sex scene, immiediatly she's like omg. Two english ladies we sitting right next to her, and were staring at her, she felt super emmbarrased. Then one of her friends behind her comes up to her and says "Hey, whatcha watchin there?" So when then when the flight was over and people were getting off the plane, another friend came up to her and said "Enjoy your p*rn?"

Hahaha

^ha that's funny! I thought that scene was a little.....much.

some of the more rare photos of Edie:

I know they've been posted, but I enlarged them and I figured it was time for a photo recap. ;)

Exactly, but its not like I have a problem with sex scenes, but their all just so raunchy these days. None of it is tasteful, like in the Notebook, there was nothing wrong with that sex scene.

the notebook.. i need to watch that film again

Me too. I'm so glad I didn't see it in theaters, because I bawled through out half of the movie it was horrible, I thought I would never stop. It was worse then when I watched Titanic

I was looking at a pair of chandelier earrings that looked like Edie's, I was debating on getting them, but I don't think I would ever be able to pull it off like Edie did.

Same here. I have really long hair and i'm only 5'1 so they look really awful on me! I wish i could pull them off though.

I know what you mean. I bought the ones off of ebay (from the guy who designed some jewlery for factory girl) and I love them but feel silly wearing them for most occasions

^ I'm sure you guys could pull them off. I love long earrings, I always have. Even before I knew about Edie I just always loved them! Plus I have Buddha-like earlobes, so I can handle the extra weight of long earrings. lol
