Thanks babydoll! I've read Jean Stein's book, so I guess that's where I thought I'd read it. I remembered it was with "V" but I had guessed they were Virginia Slims, though they weren't introduced till later.
And I love that Edie picture, Lupe!

I think I read somewhere that she smoked Viceroy. =]

Have been looking through all the pictures people have been putting up. She is just STUNNING!
Has everyone seen the Steve Sasco designs online? He does really spot on replica's of Edie's jewellery. Worth looking :)

Thanks Littlemissmolz!
Btw, does anyone know where to watch Space, Restaurant, Horse or Color Me Shameless? I've watched all of her other movies, those are the only ones I'm lacking :(

I wanna see Lupe! have you seen it KayPeanuts?
I also wanna see Kitchen. I saw a bit of it at a Warhol exhibition, but it was impossible to hear anything they said :(

Yes, I've seen both of them. This year they brought a part of Moma's exhibit on Andy Warhol to a local museum that's near my house, and they showed some of Andy's movies so I was lucky enough to go.
I really liked Kitchen, she's dazzling in that movie. Lupe is great too, even though nothing really happens, but it was lovely to see her in colour not being wobbly like in Ciao!

Mar 28, 2010 @ the Andy Warhol Musuem... two newly restored films, Face (1965) with Edie Sedgwick and The Velvet Underground in Boston (1967) unseen since the 1960s, will be premiered.

OMG! Really? God, I wish I lived there :(
If any of you goes, please tell me what your thoughts were!

apparently, this following photo that I had posted in a previous post was deleted because of "Improper credit," yet it was credited properly. This following photo was uploaded at myspace.com/edie.sedgwick :innocent:

^^^ oooh. I haven't seen those ones before. What were they doing? Look like they are trapped under some kind of bannister haha.

ahh, that was that show of andy's wasn't it? where a bit of a riot started, they had to take down his paintings? she was dangling her long sleeves to the people below...

Yes! I'm going to be in NY in a month so i will get to see them! The Warhol museum will be playing them daily for 7 years along with many of his other films.

And thank you for the new pictures! I think they were in Pittsburgh. It mentions it in the Jean Stein book.
