Wow, I do not think I have ever seen a more divine smile on a human being, than Edie's. Hers was a face to launch a thousand ships or scenesters!

Just finished teaching the Stein biography; looks like about half the class have written their essays on Edie. They seemed to enjoy when I pulled out my 1965 August Vogue with the "youthquaker" feature!

Yes, it's also interesting how Edie seems to be at the centre of action in every one of the photos. She had such a commanding presence. And how she loved to laugh!
