i don't know what you mean by series- i imagine this is a languagge issue..albertli1984 said:I find Edition 24 another title from wwd is
"YSL to Unveil Lower-Priced Brand, Edition 24"
So that its a brand by YSL, not a series by YSL, right ?
Dy definition, it's very different between series and brand.
they say it has been 'dubbed' edition 24...so that is what they are calling it...a permanent, season-less and sharply priced collection of YSL essentials dubbed "Edition 24" that helps fulfill the brand's promise of not only inciting desire, but serving women with a complete wardrobe for modern life.

Don't you hate it when you ooze out of baggage claim all wrinkly and stanky after a red-eye flight, only to have the paparazzi snap away at your every unsightly faux pas? Stefano Pilati has you covered. This month, the Yves Saint Laurent designer debuts his Edition 24 line of unfussy, lower-priced, wrinkle-resistant pieces intended for travel par avion. (No word yet on its resistance to turbulent cabernet.) The collection—or "style passport," as Pilati cutely calls it—consists of two dozen essential looks, a grab-as-you-go mix of coats, dresses, skirts, swimsuits, pants and, in an ode to one of the house's iconic styles, safari jackets. It also comes with a line of luggage based around the Downtown it-tote. There's still no better way to fly than first class, we think, but we're thrilled at the idea of emerging from a plane looking a little less destroyed. At Yves Saint Laurent boutiques worldwide.

The downtown luggage is so cool! But my main question is: how much less expensive is this line compared to the mainline? If a tee shirt starts at $300, that's still very expensive. But I'm surprised to hear it's mostly under $1,300.
