She's got a second album in the works, and is writing and recording songs, but she said in interviews that she wasn't sure about the direction she wanted it to take.

She's currently filming a new Showtime series called Shameless with debutes in January. It also stars William H Macy and Joan Cusack.

By the way if you haven't seen her last film Dare (it came out in November 2009) I definitely recommend checking it out.
