Emmy Rossum

well as i said, i dont know if thats true, but you frequently hear it,...and no - not every actress is called a diva..or has anyone ever called natalie portman, kate hudson or mandy moore a DIVA?! nope, dont think so. i think emmy is great, and i do love her style more than anyone's...but i do think she's kinda stuck up.
I actually HAVE heard Natalie Portman, Kate Hudson and Mandy Moore called a diva, snobby, stuck up, etc. Check out the post on the Natalie Pormant board on the IMDb. 1/2 the threads are debating whether or not she's a snob (Personally I don't think she is but who knows for sure?)

You have a right to your opinion about Emmy, but I'm just saying mine. From what I've read she's a perfectionist and very assertive, and she gets a bad rap for it, IMO.

well i dont care for her repuation too much..i like watching her movies and looking at pics of her.. she's very classy and elegant and that's most important.
and i'd rather have her a bit stuck up than jessica alba like media wh*re/naked in men-magazines... lol.

Yeah I agree. I really like that she's got class. A lot of people try to fake it (I love how Nicole Ritchie, Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan etc. are trying to be all elegant now!), but it's this indefinable quality that you either have or you don't. Emmy has it. Plus, she's got talent. It's a rare combo in Hollywood!

that is so undeniable true, nicole richie will never be elegant, she does wear cute things, but her whole personality is not classy, she seems way too ditzy to be elegant... emmy and very few other actresses remain this class around them and seem to have a classy attitude..thats what makes them elegant, not the clothes themselves.

ok. I'll settle this. I saw Emmy at the Bloomingdale's Holiday Windows opening and she was absolutely perfect. She was so nice to everyone, even when the cameras weren't rolling. She stopped to talk to a little girl for about five minutes. She asked how old she was, where she was from, if she liked the show etc. She was really so sweet, and I certainly have no idea where the stuck up rumors come from. If anyone was a diva that day it was Minnie Driver. Emmy was great. She joked around with Patrick and Gerry the whole time, cameras on and off, and it was great to see how nice they all were with each other.

And of course, Happy Belated 19th Birthday to Emmy.

Hi! Welcome to tFS:flower:

Were you at the Bloomingdales Windows Opening? That's so cool. It sounds like she was really sweet.

Maybe Minnie was staying in character. You know. Like she explained in the cast interview on the view.
"I wanta a cappuccino! NOW!...... sorry... sorry I'd like a coffee."

^^LOL! I didn't see the interview. She stayed in character for the whole interview, or was that just one joke?

BTW- Welcome to tFS:flower:

oh she said it as a joke. they asked emmy if it was hard for her to get the songs out of her head she said yes then Minnie said it was hard for her too but more so with her character she'd go to a cafe and say "I wanta a cappuccino! NOW!!... sorry... sorry I'd like a coffee" I'll try to find the two part interview for you. Cause Gerry also does the cool cape thing as a demonstration.

Wow. FINALLY someone here who agrees with me that those cheesy, "elegant" people you mentioned - don't forget Jessica Simpson - are talentless, unstylish (sad thing is they have a stylist) and just plain cheesy and dumb. Thank you. I'm giving you karma.

Dude, I'm right there with you too! Those "women" really get on my nerves. You can't be a party girl tramp and a classy woman at the same time. Just doesn't work.

Jessica Simpson... gah! She makes my brain bleed and she's been looking like crap lately with the fake tan and her new anorexic body. Who told her it was a good idea to lose her *** for the Daisy Duke shorts? I thought that was the whole point of them to show off your ***.

Anyway, I've gone off on a tangent again. Emmy is too cute. She looks like that really nice girl in school who was president of everything but actually still nice to people and not a total b*tch just because she was popular ya know? :D
