Has Emmy fallen on career troubles? I don't understand why she would be at Perez Hilton's party. I also saw her one morning on an episode of MTV Cribs. I was surprised because she didn't seem like the type of celeb who'd want to be on a show showing off her home.

No she's actually good friends with Perez Hilton which is why she was at his party. You often see pics of them hanging out. I think they met when he selected her as one of the features artists in his Perez Hilton Presents concert.


Unlikely friends perhaps, but friends nonetheless.

The cribs episode she did when her album came out. Since the theme of the album was "Inside Out", and her goal was to show people the non Red Carpet Emmy they thought that her home would be something good to show.

Career-wise she's got 2 films out in 2009 (and one in the works) and an album that she hopes to have out in late 09 or 2010.

Does anyone know what heritage she is??

She's Jewish and her ancestery is Dutch on one side and Scots-Irish on the other
