Erin Fetherston looked to vintage portraits of debutantes to come up with a soft and ladylike collection of cocktail dresses and gowns, some with impressionistic floral prints.

CHEAP, and the fact that she said that "this is what i would wear on a plantation in the bahamas" is so revolting!

i love it! the draping and the color palette is great.

hmm the one shoulder draped dress remonds me of Peter Som AW08 and some prints remind me of Erdems AW collection...
it is pretty but pretty boring?

I can see the debutante influence all right...
But merely matching 50's ball gown top with super mini skirt, isn't exactly going to translate those designs to the present.:(

quite bland if you ask me. looks as if she was trying to do a roksanda ilincic(with the clothes and even in the setting)but got stuck in no man's land. it does not look well executed. she's better doing the fairy-tale couture stuff.

It looks like she bought a few matching vintage pieces, dry cleaned them and called it a "collection".
