Take a look at this interesting excerpt from an interview with photographer Juergen Teller, posted in the forums by Laura:

For someone who made his career out of snapping sexy birds in clothes, this is a rather daring sentiment. But then Teller's entire approach is daring. He even questions the validity of his most famous muse. "I am astonished about the Kate Moss story, and not just the recent drugs affair. I'm astonished about the Kate Moss story, full stop. I don't quite understand it. I have known her personally very well, for about 16 years, since she was 15. She is an extraordinary woman, so much fun and so energetic. But to get to be such an icon, to have exploded like a rocket - I don't really get it. She is beautiful, but so are many others." He goes on. "I don't think she looks any good in any photos of the past five years. In fact, she looks crap in all of her recent huge advertising campaigns. Chanel, Burberry, Rimmel. She looks awful. It's as if it's enough just for her to look something like Kate Moss. It's a dreadful life for her, to live in this position. And cocaine? What a surprise that was."

I am almost certain that she is not doing the Chanel campaign...rumor has it, she isn't even doing the Coco Madmoiselle campaigns this go round, and that may go to Avril Lavigne or Winona Ryder.

I was reading I think the Februay issue of teen vogue with gemma ward on the cover and in her story it said she was going to do the Madmoiselle ad. If I'm wrong Karl needs to make-up his mind already.

I think Gemma would work really well for the Mademoiselle ads. I wonder if it's true... I'm not a fan, but I prefer her over the other two rumored choices.

I don't know...they used a celeb last season, so I get the feeling that Missoni, like alot of fashion brands will in the near future, is going to go for a SUPERmodel. In fact, I think that the next seasons will have Kate, Gisele, Amber and others doing a lot of work.

My guess: Angela Lindvall or Linda Evangelista.

Lindsay Lohan is set to replace model Gisele Bundchen as the face of fashion label Louis Vuitton. The label's head designer, Marc Jacobs, has asked her to pose for the Autumn/Winter 2006-07 collection. The Mean Girls star will follow in the footsteps of Jennifer Lopez and Uma Thurman, who have also represented the company. A source tells American magazine Us Weekly, "She just got asked to be in the ads. She's going to say yes." Lohan is a long-time fan of the company and is "extremely excited" according to the source. The move has raised fashionista eyebrows, as some insiders believe the 19-year-old isn't sophisticated enough to represent the prestigious fashion house. Jacobs has stated that he wants his next ad campaign to be young and "cartoony."
