She just shot the catalog for now. But she might be doing the campaign at least I'm hoping she does

catalog and ads has nothing common the girl who`s been in catalog won`t be in ads
it`s LV and how u see they have very strict rules of adv-making: same consept every season even if collections are so different
i think it`s because LV is bag- brand first at all( maybe u`ve marked already what clothes in their ads aren`t the general theme)
it`s quote annoying

The only thing I don't like about them so far is the Louis Vuitton, especially the thing Naomi is holding.

Now, that one is cool. But everything about LV seems to scream tacky nowadays, so I dont know what to think yet.

i really dont see the similarity between the two. i mean, the new ads are just models in front of a plain background, just them and the products while the 1999 ones have a specific setting and interaction with props that arent the product. the expressions are also different, like the current ads scream of the supermodel era. i hope that makes sense

^I agree. There's something about the simplicity and intensity of the new ads that makes it much stronger than the SS1999 campaign (IMO)

I was just referring to the nature of the ads. The S/S 99 campaign is the most subdued LV ad I've ever seen with the bag taking the forefront. The previous campaigns are so bold and in-your-face in terms of coloring that what they're trying to sell isn't. I wasn't saying the campaigns were identical.

These are the pre-fall ads for Louis Vuitton. I don't know if the model is Freja Beha but I'm 80% sure it is. Can anyone clarify that?

How do I post pictures anyway? I'm having trouble with adding pictures to my posts - they just show up like that ^^^^^. I will post the pre-fall ads as soon as someone helps me!

LV used to have super great ads. Creativity declines as sales figures multiply.

Did you add Lina Ohta to the list? According to the Miu Miu thread, she is also included in the campaign for fall.
