F/W 06.07 Ad Campaigns

I just think her look fits in perfectly with the Fall collection and she fits there image so well with her classic features. It seems like she has become his muse and her ads with them look wonderful. So it' s likely that she'll do it again.

Raquel Zimmerman would be perfect for Versace:heart:

When Doutzen is really Valentino's muse, then why didn't she open or at least close his show? I think she will not get a third season, and I don't care for that because I'd love to see Doutzen doing other (even bigger) campaigns.

But I do agree on Raquel!

No, LillY Donaldson opened Valentino, i suspect Versace will hire Daria Werbowy but just a futile hunch..

^ That is some of the most disappointing fashion news I've heard since the announcement that Roland Mouret wasn't showing.

not only is Kate rediculously over-hyped lately, her two Dior campaigns were numbingly boring. I personally think they should have chosen someone like Tasha, she would have been perfect.

agreed. and i'm saying that even though i consider kate a superb artist. also i don't favor tasha but i see where you're going.

I wonder if Daria will get Chanel again.. it would be cool IMO.. she's a Chanel Icon now. If she does it 4 seasons in a row.. it'll really cement her place.

I want less Kate Moss.. sorry to her fans.. but yeah thats my opinion only.

I think Hilary should do Ralph Lauren.. she's perfect for them and she was look #2 at the show so who knows.. plus she has worked with them in the past (but it wasn't the main line I believe). Hopefully she'll get Balenciaga again.. but they rarely repeat models right?

And I think Heather Bratton has been doing mass editorials recently and she'll probabbly nab a campaign or two.

i find hilary overrated

lindsay lohan for lv? and more talk about keira for chanel...

from Vogue.co.uk:
Gisele Bundchen may have taken over from a line-up of celebs, including Uma Thurman, Jennifer Lopez and Scarlett Johansson, for the spring/summer 2006 ads but it looks like Louis Vuitton wants another actress next time around. Lindsay Lohan is thought to have been asked to pose for the French house, appearing in ads for an autumn/winter 2006-7 collection that designer Marc Jacobs describes as "very young" and "cartoony". The 19-year-old actress, who has previously starred in ads for American handbag brand Dooney &Bourke, could be just one in a long line of stars to collaborate with Jacobs in the future. "There are all sorts of people I'd like to work with," he said when he picked Bundchen last season. "But the stars and I don't mean celebrities all have to be in line when everything else just gels." Speculation is rising, meanwhile, that Keira Knightley might sign as the new face of Chanel despite the fact that people are still gossiping about the fact that she wore a huge vintage diamond necklace to the Oscars that was made by Bulgari and not Asprey, whose campaign she currently stars in. "It's not a big deal," a spokesman told WWD. "She's still the face of Asprey, but she isn't under contract to wear Asprey jewels. She wore Cartier to the Baftas."

^^^ horrible news. I can't stand Lindsay Lohan. She just buys designer stuff and hopes she looks good and hip in them (which admitted she usually does) but she has no style sense, let alone she is a fashion icon. And Keira is even worse..

Oh, I'd love to see Tasha Tilberg for Gucci, also.

I'm going to be ok with every campaign that does not include celebrities or Kate Moss.

Ugh this celebrity for ads news is killing me! How horrible! I mean, models exist for a reason. If Jennifer or Lindsay walked into Ford or IMG before all this fame and recognition they would literally be LAUGHED at. They, along with many many many - almost ALL actors/singers are not MODEL MATERIAL.

I hate this whole "Hi, my name is Jennifer Lopez and I'm an actress-turned-dancer-turned-singer-turned-designer-turned all out FAKE". I mean, stick with your career, whatever that may be, and stop trying to take on the world. I mean, soon they'll be running for President. It's all out ridiculous and the people casting them or taking on there challenges are greedy money hungry people with no respect for the industry.

End Rant :)

I think Lindsay was a ford model when she was a kid :D

My top bets on landing campaigns this season :flower:

1. Snejana- Proved to get more work than Rhoda and had better Ads
2. Hilary Rhoda- Will nab at least two Paris campaigns and maybe a New York, but I doubt that she captivated the Milan set so much
3. Vlada/ Freja- They are just waiting to get those big campaigns, and I see it coming soon
4. Heather Bratton- Has gotten a lot of hype and generally positive editorial and runway showings
5. Mona J- Gets loads of campaigns, despite a poor runway reception
6. Tanya D- Great runway work this season
7. Gemma/Daria/Liya- Supermodels, of course they will get their fair share
8. Irina L- Didn't do as well as expected last season, but who knows?
9. Kate/Gisele- SuperSUPER models
10. Lily D/Lisa Cant/Natasha P- Top girls get top campaigns

WiLd CArdS: For the Fendi campaign, I expect another retired super to resurface, my vote going to Erin O'Conner or Maggie Rizer personally... Versace goes for celebs, and as Halle proved, models-turned-actors do it best, and I would love to see someone like Isabella Rosselini take on the dark sophistication of the last collection...with newcomers like Patricia Schmid and Coco Rocha on the loose, I think the girls in my top ten need to watch their backs!...and finally- with Anna Mariya opening and closing Prada, will that leave our Sasha out in the cold come campaign time? I hope not...but who knows? Fashion is anything but predictable!

I LOVE IRINA's WALK! AMAZING! Especially in the Louis Vuitton show her walk is so structured! I love it! I also loved the slight smurk she gave at the end of the runway when she came out second...too cool!

haha this is only because she has a stylist just like hilary duff who've helped them change their style

That article by UK Vogue seems innacurate, can we have a link? Keira Knightley did not even attend the BAFTA's

I'd love to see a lot of fresh and new faces, faces that aren't 'hip' yet, that's not gonna happen though. I'd like to see more of Angela Lindvall, black models in general and Stella Tennant.
