I wanted Emina for Valentino, but I think Gemma will be ok.

Missy and Cooooco aside, I think the casting looks pretty good so far. I'm getting seriously curious what Freja's doing, though!

Gemma for Valentino is totally wrong (and a total suprise). I think Valentino should be done by a more classic face, since I think Valentino is a really classic designer. But I don't care since the FW0607 Valentino collection was really crap and I don't think Gemma can make it look better.

Great to have a confirmation on Du Juan for LV. Still, I have to wait for YSL confirmation. I think YSL under the direction of Stefano Pilato is great and it will get much better! BTW I think this seasons YSL campaigns are brilliant with a great diversity of models and actresses! No offence to Du Juan but she doesn't fit in my view on YSL.

haha, everybody know what's YSL in fashion industry! i don't want to indisposition talk about "logic" , it's really absurdity! Tom Ford make a very fabulous collections for YSL, but that's just for himself, not for YSL. now, Pilati show us what's Patisran chic, what's really YSL in 21 century.

i really dont get the baby dollmodel craze. it totally alienates the main customer of the brand, especially an elegant older brand like valentino

ahh, Du Juan and YSL! ....It will be interesting to see how Du Juan photographs with both mert and marcus and Juergen Teller..!

I dont believe shes worked with either yet, this is getting exciting..

And as for the member mentioning the President of the Gucci group passing the publications advertisements, I dont think there will be a problem with it, YSL in the last few years has used Ujjwalla Raut and Liliana Dominguez (Rive Gauche) for their campaigns in earlier years, both aren't caucasian or even look it...Perfect!

Well they can still use her anyways, she dosent necessarily have to appeal to asians to help out the brand. Not like most people feel Sasha Pivovarova is the ideal person they want to see in ads, considering she looks like a cracked up Gemma Ward (not that I dont love her) but she still does the job!

i am sure. DuJuan will go to Paris next Monday for YSL shooting. of course i don't know the Group CEO will approve this case, but i know Mr. Stefano Pilati like her, very much.
and DuJuan's broker from IMG is same with Kate Moss. IMG should make she go to topmodel line.

YSL has certainly always liked Chinese references and Du Juan is the most exquisite Asian model ever, IMO. She'd be a perfect choice for YSL.

Most of it yeah but what i was saying is that I don't think that Du Juan is a good match with YSL and I don't think she will help out the brand as she doesn't really impress me in print or runway. Hopefully I'll have to eat my words when the ads come out.

Of course celebrities are overrated. The actors should stick to their jobs (acting hence the name actors) and let models do theirs (modeling).

It's getting to a point where a model dosen't even have to be good to get alot of campaigns and runways...she just needs to be with a top agency
